Not eaten in that Alfredo's but tried to once. Apparently you had to have booked. The guy working there sounded positively delighted to tell us that. Like American Psycho when the guy just laughs down the phone at Patrick Bateman. Sounds shit anyway. Me and a mate tried to eat in there before Xmas, the place was empty bar one table but we were told it was fully booked with a bit of attitude so we went to amp and got a great burger. As for Bask it’s not for me that place, probably an age thing but it always seems really noisy, the sound just bounces around and the reserved tables thing is annoying and for what I drink the beer is crap, I’d rather go to the Petersgate Tap or the Angel! Yeah, agree on the noise. Absolutely fine blasting music at 10pm on a Saturday night, not so much at 6pm/7pm when people are trying to talk.

It seems the ex-Sugo / Rigantoni’s has shut the Sale site?

It seems the ex-Sugo / Rigantoni’s has shut the Sale site? Came here to say just that. They’re having a stinker.

It seems the ex-Sugo / Rigantoni’s has shut the Sale site? Was talking about this on whatsapp earlier with a few off here. I said that'll go down as a case study in how to destroy a successful brand. Just ludicrous. Sugo was brilliant. A proper mean to look forward to, nice atmosphere, food you couldn't get anywhere else. Was a proper treat. And they end up closing down while serving up a Wimpy version of pasta.

Honestly the whole thing has baffled the life out of me. Part of me is thinking it's money laundering cos it is such a HUGE waste of money to rebrand then close. Just on an off the top of my head cost breakdown of it: New Signage ~ £12k Social Media Coverage (based on costs I've had before) - MCR Finest £1800, The Manc £1400 Logo Design £500-750 Menu Design & Print £250 Equipment ~ £5000 Menu Development £1000 ~£22,000 for 4 weeks trial with a terrible name and even worse concept. Them's the breaks I suppose 🤷🏻♂️

It's genuinely not a normal business practice, they need investigating.

Owners of panicos in Marple have retired after 40 years in charge of the chippy.
Not somewhere I've been loads but when I have been they have always been good kebabs and donner. The nicest place this side of Stockport anyway.
The chippy will remain under new ownership
