Madden has been in alot of refs faces recently and so has collar Believe Madden is injured and may miss about 4 weeks so no danger of him doing that on Sat. FFS. Not saying we can’t play without him but no doubt he lifts the side. Good opportunity for Tanto to step up and get a run hopefully. If it’s true of course. |

May have missed something, but why does pugwash continually post on our board. Fair play when we were about to play Orient post match banter etc. But he posts regularly on here. Does he do the same on all other forums in L2?. To be honest seems a decent sort so just curious with his infatuation with us. Like I say may have missed another connection. Genuine question. You & 3 Others. I 'm retired at 55 & need some mental chewing gum . It's just my way of passing time , why Stockport, you seemed the moaniest bunch of Curmudgeons about & I Knew I'd fit right in . Our friendly game on Tuesday was against Everton and lost 2-0 (Ellis simms with both goals) Everton had a player sent off Just seen it on twitter but don't know if true as it's just a random Everton fan on twitter but would be very random and considering we had one on Tuesday I believe it. Think it was played at Finch Farm (Evertons Training Ground), they got 2 late goals by all accounts. Sounds like we made a good account of ourselves against a strong Everton side. |

Bit of local interest in the Harrogate ranks for tomorrow. Matty Daly currently on loan from Huddersfield is a Stockport (Reddish) lad. If he plays of course. They seem to have a few from round our way. Hopefully our climb up the divisions and developing a proper scouting and academy set up means we can stop losing youngsters to the systems at the likes of Huddersfield. City and Utd I kind of get (and maybe Liverpool and Everton), but less Huddersfield, Blackburn, and the Sheffield clubs less so. Mind you that's not grated as much as having the likes of Fleetwood, Morecambe, Accrington etc...with satellite youth training and scouting missions in and around Stockport. But I like to think that will start to change now, and hopefully rapidly. We need to keep young talent from "Greater Stockport" in "Greater Stockport" and playing with County. |

Please name a few who we have missed out on who have become regulars at teams at our level. The best are always goiing to be snapped up by the premier league teams and those local lads who do not fit with them are the ones we should be looking at as they,ll be older. |

We're pleased to announce that academy defender Ellis Farrar has today signed his first pro-contract with the Club, before completing a loan move to Finn Harps.
He will be joined during his time in Ireland by Daniel Okwute, who also heads on loan to The Harps. Good luck, guys!
League of Ireland First Division club. Should be a good training move.
