He's hard to judge as some parts of his game are just excellent - 1v1 saves, reflexes and vision for the longball. But he doesn't command his area which puts us under pressure vs crosses/long throws and is prone to the odd soft goal - more than a "top" goalkeeper. I don't know enough about the other GKs in the league but that sounds about right. Bit harsh to discuss maybe given the occasion and his service to the club. |
