Anyone know how many tickets were likely to get for Leyton Orient? Looking at doing an all dayer down there with some non season ticket holders. But if tickets are going to be scarce not sure if I can be arsed booking train tickets then having to beg for tickets. I looked at the allocation Wimbledon had this weekend. They had 1245 and sold out. So assume we will get the same.

Especially as the club vets alot of new addresses by contacting relevent clubs to check against there database .

I'd be surprised if that is the case, they'd be breaking every data protection law in the book. Orient can't ring up County and ask 'Does John Smith of 1 High Street have a booking history at County?' - if we gave away that answer we'd be potentially in big trouble.

Getting in the home end is easy enough. Although for big matches you'll often need a booking history so it's prudent to buy a ticket for a random match well ahead of the time.

Was brought in after covid re-opening , to keep track of those being pinged & then tracing contacts . I'm not sure the government re-introduced data protection priority since . To be fair I'm going off memory from what 18 months ago so could be back to normal . Away fans werent allowed through the EFL/PL so maybe im not upto speed again .

I remember last time we went to Brisbane Road, a couple of County fans (one of whom is sadly no longer with us) convinced one of the residents of the corner flats to let them watch the game from a balcony overlooking the pitch!

Contact tracing for Covid is very different from sharing customers data from another business. I’d be amazed if Orient or any other club are sharing each others info, it’s not allowed.

Thats What they tell us , 2nd last game of the season 2018/19 away to Solihull , Orient released a statement on social media telling Orient fans tickets bought in the home end were being refunded on Police advice after safety concerns after hundreds of O's fans had bought home tickets & that was pre covid .

If they are sharing it then they’re breaking the law, unless there is explicit consent given by the person providing that information it can’t be shared. I’ve worked in two industries which handle customer data and even pre GDPR you weren’t allowed to share customer data with other companies in the same industry.
