Don't know what happened there
Pure County @purecounty 8m Sea of Blue March Organiser tells Pure - "6 from the silent 7 have agreed to return equity and forego all their loans to the club".

Not surprised in the slightest that the one unwilling to write his off is Fearn.

I'll believe it when the six shareholders tell Pure or the Express and what conditions are attached.

I'll believe it when the six shareholders tell Pure or the Express and what conditions are attached. Yeah, far too soon to get giddy. Sounds promising, but let's wait and see. There's a lot which remains unsaid. In fact, it's always too soon to get giddy. If only we could agree to never again blow smoke up anyone's arse, no matter who it is. Owners should always - always - be questioned rigorously, because without exception, they will want some return for whatever it is they're spending. Sometimes that return is harmless - e.g., someone makes money and plays at football clubs, writing it all off (although I'm not sure such people actually exist) - and sometimes it isn't. But we need to move away from the days of forelock tugging and grovelling whenever A. Businessman Esq. takes over. Example: let's say Bramall and the other one who have apparently been bankrolling our losses gain control and Fearn and the rest eff off. We should immediately seek answers to the following questions: 1. How much money have you put in? 2. What return do you want? 3. What's your exit strategy? And we should review the answers every few months and see how they stack up to the reality. But I suspect if the above does happen, we'll have the usual mass veneration of our new owners from the majority.
