I have created a documentary about Stockport County and it's fans. I have done this for my final project at college and wondered if anybody would be interested in watching. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as it will help go towards my final grade. If you are interested in watching my documentary, it can be found here:
Thanks

Very good Sam, well done.
There’s things that you wouldn’t really be expected to get better because of the lack of resources so the lighting for example is not great but it’s not a problem and you have done well with what you had available
One thing you can and should have got better is the syncing of audio and video, especially earlier on
On the whole though a documentary is about telling a story and feeding it to people who are unfamiliar with the details in a way they can easily understand from a factual perspective but more importantly how the subjects feel about the events as they unfold(ed) and you have nailed that 👏👏👏

Really enjoyed that. It’s a Phoenix story I’m never going to tire of hearing. Nothing further to add to Dave Schofields constructive criticism. Well done.

Well done, obviously I can relate to the subject and I am not qualified in anyway to critisise sound or lighting (struggle to work the tele). But if that had just been posted without you saying what it was for the feedback would of been wow thats brill. Good luck with your grading and again well done

Well done Sam - that is an excellent video which has brilliantly caught what it means to be a County supporter. Hope you get a top grade.

Really well done. I love how you edited the interviews together. You clearly asked well thought out questions too because you got some great responses from your subjects.
One thing I'd do differently next time is vary the angle that you shoot from. The low angle is not the most flattering so I'd try and shoot from slightly above the eye level of the interviewee more often, if that's possible.
Overall though, you've done a great job, it was engaging and a story that we'll never tire of hearing. 👍

Excellent work that mate! 👏🏼
Great that you’ve got a perspective from people who were on the inside and also from the fan’s point of view.
Footage is really well put together with, as others have said, probably limited resource.
For a 12 minute video, you’ve covered/captured/detailed the story really well. Enjoyable watch!

Really enjoyed that, thanks Sam. Good combination of interviews, one pair in a quiet room for contrast, classic talking heads, and the rest in and around Edgeley Park with interesting background noise and action. Between them all you covers the story of the last few years, well done.

Just wanted to mention that I slowed down the playback on the video and could not find the audio syncing issues that you mentioned, might be an issue with YouTube potentially? Apart from that, a really helpful review, will be great for my evaluation. Cheers 👍

Good job, Sam. Really enjoyed this. Given the short amount of time you got over the story and more importantly the club/fan relationship so even non County fans would understand. Well edited, loved the interview snippets interspersed with the crowd scenes. Only thing I would say is I found JK sometimes hard to hear because of the background crowd noise, but in a way it just added to the atmosphere. Good luck and hope you get a good grade.

Glad you enjoyed it, unfortunately the Jon Keighren sections didn't end up as great on the audio side as I spent a mad day running around and gathering all of the footage and was quite tight for time towards the end. Hopefully the subtitles make up for some of what I lost in audio quality. Thank you 👍
