Not my biggest pet hate in football but one which bugs me. When a keeper is obviously time wasting by holding onto the ball for ages, then why do some fans start chanting the seconds far too fast? There's a bloody big scoreboard there to use as a guide to how long a second is!! I thought people were counting too fast but I watched the scoreboard at one point and it seemed to me like everyone was in time, in the Popside anyway. I didn’t take part in it myself. It wasn’t going to change anything and I was pissed off enough 😂

Radio stations using somebody's opinion as an item in a news bulletin, e.g. 5 Live in their 12pm bulletin "David James believes Man City or Liverpool will win the Title".
That NOT news....😡

That NOT news....😡 I’ll jump on board with that. The bbc website is the worst for it with headlines like (and I’ve just searched for a recent example) 'How much respect they have for each other is really nice to see' about Klopp and Pep. Which football expert has that opinion? Ragnar Klavan. Nope, me neither. Apparently played for Liverpool 8yrs ago.

Even worse is when they quote some random nobody on Twitter/X as part of a "news" story e.g. thingymibob629 posted on X "you should demand a refund", or similar. There clearly isn't really a news story, just some reporter fishing about for something to pad out a quiet news day!

That NOT news....😡 Some opinions should be news, like that Tory donor opinion that leaked today. The main problem with the David James one is it's extremely dull, Man City are favourites and Liverpool are second favourites.

Don’t think anything annoys me more in football than what we saw tonight with the tactical goalkeeper injury to have a teamtalk at the side of the pitch.

I’ve said it before, but I think the rest of the players should be made to wait in the centre circle while an injured player receives treatment. Or their respective penalty areas if there’s a worry about possible aggro.

It seems a little odd that this seems to happen in every game now at the same point where the side is up against it and need a break for themselves and disrupt the opposition. The ref has no option but to stop play as he isn,t a medic and there careers would be over if they refused them treatment that for once it was proved to be a genuine injury.

The guy behind me who moans every time we take a short corner. Tell him to watch the video from Notts County's fans forum where the ex manager explains the idea behind short corners, converted me!

There’s also the option of the linesman and the fourth official getting involved to police the dugouts involvement too, whilst the GK gets treatment for his “injury”. Then we’ll no doubt see water bottles hurled on with instructions attached!
