This game will be played 5 Years to the day since Chester (a) 6-0.
Nod of the Hat to Jim from all County fans is in order if we get promoted IMO.

950+ fans made the journey to Sutton. Looks to be another 950+ making the journey on Tuesday It could be the clincher, I know it wouldn't be mathematically certain but we all know a win would mean league one next season.

Personally think we will win and they will win but then we need a point next Saturday against Morecambe

Yep, if FGR beat them, it means the max they can get is 85, but they can't get 85 alongside MK getting 83

Let’s not get carried away, after the Crawley game we were told on here in most strident terms that ‘a team will start to run away with it and it won’t be us’. Not sure who this team will be as they haven’t made themselves known yet, but we have been warned.

It might seem odd but I don't want it boxed off on Tuesday, it's going to be nigh on impossible for a lot to get to Colchester on a Tuesday, we can rule out the majority of school kids for a start then there's the transport problems, for once I hope Mansfield don't lose.

Yes let's not count the proverbial chickens just yet !!! Away at Colchester is no shoo-in . Overall it's looking good especially given our goal diff advantage. I doubt DC will be in any way complacent nor the players . I think a draw away at Colchester on a Tuesday, after another long journey wouldn't be bad result. It's close: as others will inevitably drop points and with Mansfield having to play MK -- they both can't win ! But we need to win at least a couple more games and preferably avoid defeats in the others.

I think Tuesday will be a really tough game. Another shit pitch, long trip, they're fighting for their lives, got a point at Mansfield and by all accounts dominated Wrexham yesterday for 60 mins before Wrexham managed find two moments.
I think a draw would be alright, keep our powder dry for Morecambe, Notts or Accrington to celebrate promotion.

They’ve improved under Cowley, recent stats show they are draw specialists, Jurassic Parky said they are far better than their league position suggests. A draw would be fine but we’re better than Wrexham and certainly better than Colchester, a few weeks ago wouldn’t be sure but we are close to full strength and may even see Barry on the bench, plenty of rotation options I doubt Colchester will have. They will be tired after their exertions v Wrexham, Cowley said they try and bully you, will have been a sapper. I expect Colchester to survive relegation but let’s get the job nearly done Tuesday, it’s brilliant opportunity.
Does anyone know if we travelled back from Sutton yesterday? Must have been tempting to stay over.

Possibly a case of not counting chickens or upsetting the football gods by being overconfident. Really we should be confident about beating a side 2nd bottom of the league when we are top of it. We have not got a brilliant record in away games there but i doubt there has been a bigger gap our way in league position as there is now.

Must have been tempting to stay over. Don't know, but from what Dave said in his post-match interview yesterday it seemed (to me at least) to suggest they were coming back up to Stockport before heading back down to Colchester. It wasn't specifically stated though, and I could be wrong.
