Just a thought- if it really happened that the ref had made an error and Knoyle should have gone, will there be any repercussions? OK he could get a ban but they wouldn't make us replay the match? No replay of the match. I’m not certain, but I’m 99% sure that if a player is given a second yellow card but not a red card, per the laws of the game it’s a refereeing error, and the player is entitled to stay on the pitch. Edit: “As the law stands, once the game has restarted the player can’t be dismissed even if the referee is informed of his mistake.“

Nope, absolutely not. But the ref might be lucky to keep his place on the league list if he has some bad reports before that happened.

I mean it's never a booking for either Byrne or Knoyle that is it, I'd kind of like it if he has give 2 bookings and watch people accuse us of cheating, though we are top of fair play table and only us and Harrogate yet to have a red card this season I know can't appeal red card for two yellows as a club, I'd imagine they can retrospectively ban but I'd like FA to make it up and say we also can't overturn a refs wrong decision with two yellows too!

He,ll be practising already with the substitutes board to make sure he doesn,t cock that one up. Hope he enjoys keeping robinson and clough in check as that could be harder than controlling the game on the pitch.

I think he gives it to Byrne for the hold initially, having played advantage. If he has booked Knoyle twice, it wont be replayed, its happened before in games with no further action taken. Plus Im sure if he did drop a bollock, I'm sure he's smart enough to give the booking to Byrne in the match report. Yep, it is Byrne booked he is the one who commits the foul.

Hope its the last we see of that hole. Awful traffic system, soul less ground and a tea bar that closes at HT. Got stuck at the park and ride waiting for the special bus that we were told was leaving at 10 back to the station. The guy who said it was on at 6pm denied it at 1030. And apparently Col U advertise it as running too. No ubers as the drivers dont like going out of town. No rooms at the Travelodge either Made the last train to london with minutes to spare due to a top local driver who drove like the wind.. Wouldnt have missed it for the world though

Posted this yesterday, which has been very well received. Linked to this thread, and could go in the non-league thread too, Worcester City won the Hellenic League Premier last night. 9th tier!

Wasn't that clear from the stream but it's definitely a save for Tanto's first chance. Two big early saves by their keeper making himself big. How different a game it could have been if one of those went in. Thankfully he decided to even it out!
