Form team at the moment, Crawley. Actually think a point wouldn't be bad but we need a decent performance. Next Saturday is a real crunch match. In this instance, I agree, but we are really running out of chances where “a point will do”. We’ve had a *lot* of favours from other teams recently. We need to do ourselves a favour for a change. Yep. If we keep settling for a point we’re running out of games to get the required number of wins. Just win this and then we can talk about a point against MK not being a bad result.

Obviously DC hasn't learned the lesson from last season .far too many draws will cost us yet again
One win with a 94th minute winner in the last six games should tell everybody it's time to go on the front foot again .and stop the SR tactic of trying to win games 1-0

Crawley have won 5 of the last 6 with some notable scalps in there, it's going to be tough but I'm going for a 1-0 win. Is it just me or do we always seem to play teams when they've hit a run of form? It certainly feels like it. I feel like this will be another tough one, but agree we should have enough to edge it, Thursday having given us some momentum.

An early goal to then cling on should we tactically choose to feels like a rare luxury it would be great to have right now.

What has MOTM Paddy done to upset you Didn’t do an awful lot for me and would try to go for high energy in the front 4. I wouldn't have had him MOTM, but the pass for Tanto's goal was a reminder of the vision and technique that can be precious in tight games. And then of course there is the small matter of the 96th minute volleyed winner in the game before. I'd say he's made more than a strong case for a starting place.

Obviously DC hasn't learned the lesson from last season .far too many draws will cost us yet again It was the losses that were the problem last season, we had the same number of draws as the top two, and not as many as Northampton, however we were the team with most defeats out of the top six.

He’s constantly been saying he wants us to be more adventurous and attacking.

Very little idea what's our best XI right now or who DC will name, which is never a good sign.
We need to be more positive (easier said than done). We're too safe when we have a point on the board - see any of the last 4 games. I think the manner of the defeats vs Tranmere and Crewe has left some scars (as well as key players missing) and we're not the free-flowing side we once were and looked our best.
Not caught up on the thread so no idea if Powell is fit but him, Kane and Richards would be in for me. Players not tainted by our recent dip in form and who will keep it on the ground.
Maybe the bench for Powell. I'd go for
Ben Kane Horsfall Pye Touray Camps Sarcevic Hippo Richards Madden Tanto
Hippo had a poor cameo is Salford but he was too deep and I feel we need someone who can go down the left with Touray in the team. Wouldn't be against Powell or CLE ( who hasn't had much of a look in lately) though with Richards drifting into that space. In the attacking slots I feel we have lots of marginal calls but very few players demanding a start.

Woots made the pass for Tanto's goal. And the winner against Newport was in the 94th minute. Personally, I think I'd start with Richards and Tanto tonight. Go for it with pace and have the experience as back up on the bench.

Nerves are kicking in already for tonight. We really need a massive performance down there tonight and just hope we play more like Thursdays 2nd half than the first. I'd take a draw tonight but we definitely need to be beating MK Dons on Saturday.

We need one win out of these two games and remember a win and a defeat will give us one more point than the two draws i feel we,ll be getting.

You just know that the last 10 games will be a mixture of points surprisingly lost as well as won, no matter how much we all rack our brains in trying to forecast the future.
Time to start chanting BBA’s mantra of one game at a time methinks. I certainly need to 🤯

A draw wouldn't be a good result tonight IMO. We've won 2 in 8. A proper top 3 team with aspirations goes there tonight, despite their form, and says here's your run over boys you've just bumped into a proper team.
Will that happen? I'm not confident.
