No pal. You're talking bollocks. Watch the goal back. It wasn't "straight down the middle" and that placement is a goal every...single...time. There isn't a goalkeeper in the world who would stop that from the position the keeper was in. Unless they were 7 foot tall or could jump like Magic Johnson. Watch it back and look at the reaction of their defenders. They think he should save it. You can’t really say it’s a fact that he should save it though wnm when it’s merely your opinion. There were people online saying Ben should have saved Salfords first which if you watch that goal from behind the ball it was a brilliant strike and moved a ridiculous amount. Separately, if you watched from the side then I get why people have a different opinion.

One thing about Powell that I really enjoy is that he absolutely loves a slide tackle. He was very good yesterday which is why he received such rough treatment, he was high fiving people on the benches when he came off so I doubt he's hurt too badly. DC alluded to the fact that it was more his race was run with his recent injury, I think the plan was probably for him to come off at that time regardless. Sometimes players just go down to allow the game to stop and allow his replacement to get fully ready to come on.
DC sounded positive on Sarcevic not being too bad too.
I've long since stopped trying to second guess or be positive about our injuries however, with a short time of the season remaining it's all about just doing body counts before every game now and rolling 11/18 out there and saying go and finish the job boys when you get called upon.

Fantastic win, if we go up it will be a great achievement with a lot of things chucked at us all season. The players worked very hard and scored some great goals, gave MK a proper good proverbial kick in the bollocks at the right moments of the game. A lot of good performers, I too would probably pick out Camps and Madden in particular. Madden seemed to just play everywhere. Paddy was incredible, popping up all over the pitch, never stopped running. One goal and two assists in the first three, involved in everything else, brilliant through ball for Wootton second half, and an important defensive header from our area late on. Astonishing fitness levels from a player some were writing off as 'over the hil' earlier in the season.

Its OK saying MK were all over us first 20 minutes playing nice stuff, should be in front etc. Rest of the game they couldn't handle us SIMPLE AS, we proper got in their faces, playing some nice stuff, they threw the towel in at 4 The amount of times I’ve seen us play other teams off the park and come away with nothing simply because the other team were more clinical. They did have some good chances in the first half hour but we kept them out and were the clinical side. Its about time we were on the right end of one of these games.

On the CLE goal, it’s quite possible for it to be both a great strike, and for the keeper to be out of position.
Thought the keeper was partially at fault for 4 of our goals. Major errors for the Camps & Byrne goals, and should have done better for the Tanto / CLE ones. Only Paddy’s goal where he couldn’t have done much.

I have so many thoughts. All of them joyful. Camps deserved MOTM but there were a few in for shouts. Powell before he went off injured, Paddy ran his tits off, Tanto too, Lemon was a nuisance, Touray has his most solid 90 I’ve seen from him, Ben’s save at 1-0 was huge (given it wasn’t flagged offside and having seen a still off Sky it probably wasn’t). It says a lot about how well the collective played that I can’t think of anything specific to say for Wootton, Horsfall, Pye and Kane who all had solid games too. The subs all played a massive part too. Did anyone record the Sky broadcast? Beautiful. Typical that I bloody didn't, mildly gutted when I got in as hoped to watch the whole thing again, still Sky had a 18 minute highlights which was decent but no DC or player interviews.

MK started their game straight off the training pitch particularly with Tomlinson giving Kane and Evans a hard time Yesterday we had an experienced team out and they knew individually and as a team they had to stay in the game. If we had Richards on the pitch there would have been an early sub. Powell Camps and particularly Madden knew they had to put pressure on them, turn them round as the best way to stop their game. MK dont get clean sheets away Three observations from me 1. it’s only the fourth time I’ve given a player 10/10 Ogley Francis and Marsden only previous recipients. Thank you Sir Patrick 2. MK looked a broken team washed up zilch at start of second half. 3. D.C. is very good at home when the other team come to play.

I said before the game I wasn't too worried about the attack. There's no goals there it was the midfield that was the worry and it was the midfield that caused us the most issues. They made some good chances. 2 resulting in Hinchliffe making 2 big saves but then 2 or 3 that fell to the striker who couldn't score in a brothel or couldn't reach the ball after it flashed across the goal. They put some great crosses into good areas but the striker was no where to be scene and horsfall and Co headed clear.

His work rate hasn,t dropped one single bit since the day he started with us. Do not really like the phrase role models, but if you have to use it Paddy is one for all over 30 year olds playing team sports at all levels.

A bit harsh on him but its about time a keeper has a poor game against us than having their game of the season.

One thing nobody has mentioned is CLE scored with his left foot, that’s fantastic technique from your weaker foot.

I believe there were visitors from Iceland and Nuneaton at EP today supporting the lads. I'm glad they got to see a County win and plenty of goals. I met one of the Iceland lads trying to bring 2 pints up in to the CE, luckily the Steward was understanding that he didn't know it wasn't allowed over here.
