I’d heard he’s pretty much out for the season. If you say something like this it would be good to know where you heard it from? it’s stressful enough following County at the moment with all these injuries threatening to derail us, also doesn’t tally with what DC says. I heard it from someone who knows one of the squad, hopefully it’s wrong.

A couple of weeks ago the signs were 6-8 weeks but since then DC has seemed more optimistic when discussing time frames. Wouldn't surprise me if our Strength and Conditioning team had dropped another bollock though.

If it so happens that we don’t go up I really hope DC gets another crack because this season has been the mother of all seasons when it comes to calamity.

I had a dream the other night that we lost this 0-5
Hope to God it wasn't a premonition 😬

I had a dream the other night that we lost this 0-5 Hope to God it wasn't a premonition 😬 It means it will happen the opposite way in non dreamland * hopefully 😁 However....being the fairweather fan that I am should your nightmare come to terrible fruition I will be back in the pub before the 5th goes in waiting to see who presses the season over button first 🙄 who blames SImon Wilson first, who blames bad luck and then who blames DC's selection. Might just switch the bloody lights off!

wouldn't mind the 4141 set up you've selected there but the only thing I'd change is the wide players. I'd have Evans on the left and hippolyte on the right Cutting in I personally feel that wingers 'cutting in' is a scourge of the modern game and should rightfully be discouraged, perhaps even outlawed. And don't even get me started on 'underlapping' full backs (which now I've written down I feel like I might have just dreamt about, but I'm staunchly in opposition to all the same). *Cries into his Super Kevin Cooper pillow*

Is that right? Fair enough. To be honest I was going entirely on the post-match interview with their manager, so it's entirely likely he could have a not so objective view! He basically reckoned his team had limited the visitors to v few chances, and the game came down to a single refereeing error. Oh goody! Another team whose strategy is first and foremost to stop the other team scoring. We do so well against teams like that. On that⬆️⬆️⬆️ Looking at the remaining games, as things stand, with the exception of MK Dons and Wrexham who will almost certainly be looking to beat us, and Accrington who are virtually the only club with bugger all to play for now… every other team looks like a point against us will be a great/vital result

For those with good eyesight No Collar Wright or Croasdale in rondo. ?? Those ITK saying Wright out for longer D.C. pouring water on early Barry return We will still have 11 plus 7 good players on Saturday in a County shirt . Bout time we stopped looking over our shoulders and give Newport a few problems. No time for timid thinking like Salford Harrogate and Swindon.

Hinchliffe Horsfall Cass Bristow Byrne Pye Touray Sarcevic Bailey Evans Hippolyte Powell Olaofe Madden Wootton Whoever we’ve got injured, there’s more than enough in that list of names who will be available this weekend to be beating most teams in this league. Of course we’d be better with Barry, Collar, MSH etc but it’s not like we’re fielding a team of kids.

Couldn't see Cass on that Rondo Matt posted. I'd be surprised that we loaned out Okeke if he was injured though. Saying that, if Wright isn't back soon, I'm suprised we loaned Okeke out at all.

Agree, there a lot of good players in there, enough to win most games and it’s certainly much better than what we had at Tranmere. That said there’s 6 I’d have in the 1st team we’re still missing, Barry, MSH, Collar, Croasdale, Rydel and Wright, 2 should be back relatively soon, maybe followed by another 2, I’d definitely take that, we could be looking very strong for the run in.

Maybe, but we’re never going to always have a fully fit squad so I’m not having injuries as an excuse when we’ve got that squad I listed available. As I say, more than enough there to win most games at this level.
