Can't see a match thread for this....
I'm away the weekend of this match so my ST in upper cheadle end is going spare. If anyone needs a ticket just drop me a PM. No cost.
Update - this ticket has now gone. Could edit out the above but would rather leave it up as an example of my majestic benevolence

Are you really away, or do you just not fancy witnessing our sixth straight game without a win? lol, to be truthful I actually quite enjoyed the Swindon match. Think we've been resting on our laurels a lot this season as a fanbase. Felt like that second half we woke up a bit and there was something approaching actual feelings of frustration / willing the ball into the net rather than just dispassionately watching what's happening. As it goes I will be getting a football fix that weekend as i'm in Florence for 5 days and i'm planning on watching Fiorentina vs Roma whilst i'm there.

Was over there myself not all that long ago, but La Viola weren’t playing unfortunately.

On that run we had we knew it would end some game and always felt that would today be the day. Then shittier the weather is the more i have always fancied us.

This is a huge game for us now, let's have some noise like it was a couple of years ago.

This is the game where we stop feeling sorry for ourselves, we’ve had more than our share of misfortune but if all goes well with players returning, we should have a very strong 11 and bench. Mansfield et al have had an easy ride in 2024 thanks to our profligacy and lack of bodies, time to put an end to that starting Saturday.

Akil Wright and Ethan Pye returning could be huge for us. The amount of attacks they start for plus Wright's ability to get forward when needed have been sorely missed, having such a pedestrian and defence-only type back like is a bit part of the reason we've been so poor lately.

Akil Wright is probably the most underrated player in our squad, we're a different team when he's in the side, okay he's got a mistake in him but he gets us on the front foot.

He's a big upgrade on Cass at RCB or RB.

I think Cass has improved in each of the games he’s played, whilst I agree on Wright’s value Cass could prove to be an astute signing, unfortunately he’s not someone who can bomb up the pitch but he did a lovely cross in the Swindon match, got himself a goal on his debut and got into a good scoring position v Gillingham.

So its really Cass or Wright and neither of them are a MSH in that position. The bigger thing with having this week off is a rest for a few who might be playing not fully fit as we do not know. For me its a must win and better the performance the better i,ll feel and rid myself of a feeling we might be blowing it.

We wanted Hutton as the MSH type, losing MSH and Knoyle, and to a lesser extent, Richardson, has been damaging but not insurmountable.

It might not be but somehow i feel we are going to have to make the best of the bad position we have got into for the rest of the season. Getting collar, camps and barry back isn,t going to solve this gap and playing evans out wide only makes him look a poor player when he isn,t.
