It's a funny old game.
Chesterfield running away with the National League, but get laced by lower-placed Dorking. Makes one think that (say) results like the Tranmere game can happen. After all, if you get beaten by a team in your league, it's hardly an FA Cup giant killing.

I know one shouldn't have a second club team, but Stenhousemuir has been my secret love since I was little...I like the name. Not a terrible sin as they are not a Football League club. I also have a liking for East Stirlingshire, ever since I once saw the attendance for a game was 130, most of whom I guess were family and friends of the players.

I doubt the players get paid little more than buttons at that level so the chance to take the bookies to the cleaners, must be there.

Wonder what the largest margin anyone’s won a serious level league by is, Chesterfield must be on with a chance of that record

Not a second club but have a soft spot for Morton or Greenock Morton. Similar daft reason. I had a topical times soccer annual mid 60s and thought their kit was brilliant.

Top lad, lived near Greenock until I was 11, then moved down to Chapel. Spent many a Saturday at Cappielow watching the greats, Andy Ritchie, Neil Orr, meat pie and Bovril at half time, watching the shipyard cranes in the was dull, mmm jumpers for goal posts, isn't.... sorry rambling now!

Yes, i know i,m a jinx and promise everyone i,ll never watch a County PO game or final again however much it will hurt me personally.

Remember reading an article about East Stirling once that made me chuckle it highlighted the humour of the few fans in attendance, their fans had a song to the tune of Adam & the ants prince charming that went 'East Stirling, East Stirling, Cowdenbeath are nothing to be scared of'

Think that was before the Anglo-Scottish Cup started. Looks like we got beat 5-1 with Jim Fryatt scoring! No idea of the crowd or away fans.
