would have to leave around the 88th minute probably depending on if we kick off on time which we normally don't Yeah it's a non-starter, so now the transport/planning nerd in me is trying to merge results from three different journey planners to see if I can make something elese work and still get back to Euston for 18:13. That sounds a bit tight to me! There's one that leaves West Sutton at 17:10, change at regular Sutton (although I get the feeling it may be one of those "changes" where you stay on the same train) and get into St Pancras at 18:03. Now IF (big if) that train is on time and IF (slightly smaller if) you know the quick way to Euston from St Pancras, you may make the 18:13 from Euston. Basically, don't take the tube. Walk between the stations, but not out onto Euston Road. Take the Midland Road exit from STP and head straight down Dangoor Walk, the path next to the Francis Crick Institute. This brings you out onto Ossulston Street and you'll see the Hadstock House flats right in front of you. Go through the gate to the right hand side and straight through the complex, the gate on the other side brings you out onto Chalton Street. Turn right, and then left onto Phoenix Road (you'll see the Cock Tavern on the opposite corner). Straight down Phoenix Road, past the Euston Foodbank, and then left onto Eversholt Street. You'll pass the Prince Arthur pub on your left, but you want to cross Eversholt Street at some point and take the side entrance into Euston Station, up the stairs and past M&S. That walk normally takes me around 5 minutes.

It's having to put my faith in Thameslink that's the bit that worries me!

My reminder email arrived at 10:08... Now I just need to work out trains. Split ticket comes out at £60, but would mean having to get the 16:52 from West Sutton (2 mins from the ground) afterwards, which is too tight I reckon. Bear in mind the away end is the opposite side of the ground from West Sutton. I'd be very impressed if you could get from there to the platform in 2 minutes.

Yes I'd got my bearings all wrong looking at google maps! Going to play it safe and head for the 18:33 from Euston, which is £60 split ticketed. Not too bad.

£49 return with a Two Together Railcard.
Me and a mate got one for Orient last season, have used it for that, Wembley and Newport since. Saved us a fortune.

Is that split ticketed on certain trains or an open return? Just planning ours. Also got the 2 together. It paid for its self on its first trip out. Definitely recommended.

How much is the 2 together Railcard? £30 a year. They sometimes have them cheaper on special offers. I recently had an email offering me a friends and family rail card for free so have one of those now too. www.twotogether-railcard.co.uk/

I have a disabled railcard (epileptic) and that gets me and a travelling companion 1/3 off. Was great for a few years but covid and the Tories have ripped the complete arse and fun out of train travel. Barely been to away games this season. Working a lot weekends too these days.

We’re all on 08:55 out and the 20:18 back, try and get on the same if you can 🍺 🪩 💃🏿

Are tickets still available for this, or is it sold out? - when I click Tickets for it I'm just getting a blank screen? Hoping to get a couple more tomorrow morning when they go on open sale.
