Weather could be a challenge on Saturday, fairly strong winds throughout the game. Hope that changes by then, suppose it might force us to keep it on the deck and play our football, early goal for us please to set the tone.

Sutton might have won their last 4 games.. but all against teams in the bottom 7. The 4 wins doesn't tell the full story, theyd' lost a few by the odd goal including games against Crewe and Wrexham, had a couple of draws and won at Notts they're no mugs but we're the best side in the league and we'll win. You mean the Notts who have lost 7, drawn 2 and won 1 of their last ten league games?

Weather could be a challenge on Saturday, fairly strong winds throughout the game. Got to be one of the worst seasons for weather in quite a while? So many games where it’s been heavy rain, freezing cold, or blowing an absolute gale. Swear it’s not been this bad in recent years.

Everywhere in the country will have these conditions looking at forecasts, I think it's actually going to be worse up here.
Sutton quite an exposed pitch though and they are direct. But I think if you reduce direct teams' set pieces, team who play the ball on the floor can reduce windy conditions the best. A long, high balls potential accuracy in general play is lessened further by these conditions.
And yes, the weather has been horrendous this season.

We can do without a strong wind, that can be a leveller between mismatched teams; I think back to the early stages against Nuneaton when the gale risked turning even that one into a lottery. Having said that, I'm with pretty much everyone here that it's hard to see past an away win here. The team just looks like it really means business right now, there's such a sense of focus, the eye firmly on the prize.

Have the club stopped doing the away coaches? Coming to think about it, I don't think I've seen them advertised this season?
Any coaches got room left for the game this Saturday anyone know (and prices if possible)?

Were they sold out much because surely they could continue. Fair enough if they didn't get enough people on them

Cheers mate, still umming and ahhing but least I know it's available! If we buy the additional tickets that Sutton have put up via their website, I assume we just collect the tickets at their ground?

So annoying that the ticket office wasn't open today. Went down there to collect my Sutton ticket but they said that I need to come back tomorrow to collect it. Bit of a catch 22 really as I was only going to this one coz of a work thing in London I arranged for Friday.
Now I can't collect my ticket because of the 8 hour job i've sorted for myself in central London tomorrow but also if I sack off my job it means it's a full day of travelling on Saturday there and back and I can't be arsed with that.
Bit of a piss take these away day tickets these days. It's borderline pathetic that in this day and age they are posting tickets around and you have changing windows where you physically have to go and collect a piece of paper.

Agreed, I've still got my FGR ticket that arrived in the post the day after the game and FGR ticket office couldn't have been more unhelpful....

I've been saying 2 things for ages and some people have also said it before me. 1 - every club should be able to manage an E-ticket 2 - we should have the ticket office and club shop open every day I knew the ticket office wasn't open all week until tomorrow but people will be collecting Sutton tickets, Colchester tickets, Notts County tickets, people who have had issues with Accrington tickets and it's got all the ingredients to be chaos and long winded with probably more future ticketing problems

And Morecambe when it was all 3 on the same afternoon before the utter chaos on the trains when trying to get home. What a ducking afternoon that was. I honestly don't remember a worse football day out in my life. And I'd come from Spain for it. 😞😩

From a man with Mark Stott's business acumen, beyond belief he lets such disfunctionality persist. Those two things you mention are the definition of no-brainers. Or the third option would be, if you're not going to offer a regularly resourced ticket office, then close the bloody thing down and be done with it. Stop expecting your paying customers to second-guess when you might be open for business.
