Called in at the club on friday i was told that season tickets will be available to pick up at the beginning of August why do we always leave this so late. First game of the season is the 10th of August so doesmt leave much time for people picking up if they cant get down their or if a delivery is delayed or goes missing

Wasn't sure where to put this but has anyone else got the same issue I'm having with season tickets?
Basically, I renewed 2 tickets this season and added 2 more for newcomers, paid for them all together, but when I logged in yesterday (before it crashed) all I could do was buy tickets for the 2 renewed seats as the 2 new seats are a different order apparently and can't be linked to my renewed seats and barcode.
Is anyone else having this issue? Basically means I have to either only get 2 away seats each game, or log in twice with different codes and try to get seats together, which is going to be virtually impossible.
I know this is probably a flaw in the system, but seeing as though we've massively increased season ticket sales there must be people out there who renewed or had additional seats to their account that can still only get away seats for the tickets they renewed.
Really frustrating.....

Imagine if we had this (at a more appropriate price of course) People would be fuming Not at £850, but I’d be a huge fan of an away season ticket. Guaranteed a ticket for every game, don’t have to piss about on Future when a game goes on sale. Sign me up for one. Yeah, think I agree. As long as it's at the declared prices (which must be known by now) with, say, £20 added on for admin, it's quite a good idea. What I'd be against is clubs profiteering by adding on £100 on top of the ticket prices. No idea if that's what Leeds are doing. Edit: and some way of reselling/passing on if you can't make a game, obv.

That said, maybe I shouldn't be, to do it over 5 years is quite a feat (I'm guessing it's 80% of the total over those 5 seasons, rather than 80% as a minimum for each season and you miss out if you only did, say, 78% of aways in one of them). I wonder how many of our fans did that proportion of aways over the same period?

Andy we had the same issue with season tickets. We were told last week we had to link them when the new ticket holder bought theirs. Poor that it wasn’t communicated.

The season starts a week later than last, I didn’t receive our tickets until the last post on the Friday before it started the next day so no excuse if it as late as last year.

Happily took 600 quid quick enough over a month ago and to leave it that late is a joke

Why does it need to be any sooner?

Why does it need to be any sooner? beginning of august is a thursday. Unlikely wont be able to collect then as its not open, so its Friday but will they just wait until Monday of which is a bank holiday because they wont be open on Saturday either as the pre season game against blackburn is friday night and the season starts on the following Saturday. Imo it doesn't give much room for late deliverys for people who wanted them delivered or for people who cant get down to the ground in that week leading up to the season.

Yeah, I'll give you the postal ones, although the Monday isn't a bank holiday. If the club open the ticket office for collection every day, which I'm sure they've done in the past, then it shouldn't be an issue for the vast majority.

Edit: and some way of reselling/passing on if you can't make a game, obv. I wonder how many of our fans did that proportion of aways over the same period? Just had a look at it! Since Covid and the reopening of grounds we've played 80 away games - have excluded Yeovil at the back end of 20/21 and Carlisle at Wembley, but have included cup games as just easier to work out. Of those 80, I've missed 23. Surprised it's as high as that, tbh. So I've been to 72% of all away games in that time. Season by season, as if anyone cares: 21/22: Attended 62% overall (64% of league aways) 22/23: Attended 75% (79% of league aways) 23/24: Attended 78% (83% of league aways) Ended up breaking it down by league/cup in the end. Obviously the cup games are costing me - Port Vale & Salford in the EFL Trophy, and then Charlton and Aldershot in the FA Cup. I consider myself to be someone who goes to a lot of games. Those who are consistently hitting 80% of away games a season, which would work out at only missing five based on the last two seasons (27 aways) are thoroughly deserving of any rewards. I'd imagine it's a very small number who are at 80% with us, probably less than 50 people. I bet there's at least another 100-150 in the same area as me at mid-70s.

There's no bank holiday at the start of August and they'll extend opening hours. Agree they could get the out a touch earlier but it's not a disaster.

What I don't understand is that I bought the 2 new ones at the same time as renewing the other 2, and paid in one lump sum, so I've no idea how those are not linked to my account. Just a complete pain now and means I won't be able to book 4 away tickets, or cup tickets etc together. The ticketing really is a shambles and needs addressing with the club urgently. One definitely for the forum at least.

Worst case they can mail out an e ticket as before for those that were late.
