I assume the renewal price ends on 31st May too? It's not clear from the article. It says seats will be released for general after that date, but not when the price changes. That's how I read it but no doubt we do the yearly Panto of extending the deadline 1 or 2 weeks for renewals!

The Supporters Cooperative welcome the Clubs announcement of the season ticket prices for season 2024-25. During recent discussions with the Club we have passed over to them the detailed results of our in-depth survey of ticket pricing across all League 1 and 2 clubs . In addition, we made various points including asking that any increases reflect the existing economic situation facing supporters and their families and therefore would be affordable! It was good to hear that , after our submission on the subject, the Club , with the impact of stadium development in mind in the 25/26 season , will be considering a price cap for the Railway End albeit at a later date. Meanwhile the renewal window will open next week running until the end of May- please do not miss out! We would like to thank the Club for listening to our input on behalf of County supporters and for sharing the new pricing structure with us before announcing same. Nobody wants or likes a price increase, but we compliment the Club on keeping the eventual increases within reasonable limits! www.stockportcounty.com/join-us-in-league-one-next-season/The Supporters Co-operative feel the price increases shared by the Club, will help keep Dave Challinor’s playing budget competitive ,and also help with the sizeable plans for the redevelopment of Edgeley Park. We look forward to the new season with relish and reiterate our willingness to remain an essential conduit between the Club and its Supporters now and in the future.

I think that’s a really reasonable, sensible price rise that leaves costs at an affordable level. Happy with that.
Nice one, County.

How does it work with age? Let's say you are 18 in December. Do you get to purchase the 14-17 ticket or do you have to get the adult ticket as will turn 18 during the season? Age at time of purchase.
Good to know, my two kids shared the ticket between them this year, but it's in the older ones name and she turns 18 this season. Good to know it'll be a relatively straight forward renewal rather than needing to faff about with name changes etc.

While I agree with the general positivity around this announcement I still think more could have been done for those who have no way of scraping together £400, I know most on here will find it or they'll put it on a credit card but that's not an option for a lot of people. Bradford and I'm sure there are others have made it easier by providing 0% interest monthly payments.

Surely that'd be through a borrower via the club though, so anyone not eligible for a credit card wouldn't be eligible for a scheme through the club either?

Stadium development in the 25/26 season or a price cap in that season ? If it’s the former and a starting date then that’s later than has recently been suggested.

They’ve said likely start of the main stand east end development is in January. That would tie in with starting the Railway End development in summer 25 and into the 25/26 season. Seems consistent to me with what’s been said already.

The reading between the lines version was the bad PR that would come from the 0% finance provider chasing the grieving widow / lifetime County fan who fell off a roof etc. just was too big a risk for the club to take, given they’ve no problem shifting season tickets at the moment anyway.

Extending the renewal deadline is usually done by the club to help people out which is surely a good thing.

My next door neighbour is a Tranmere ST holder and he said that they are doing a 0% interest instalment option for 24/25 STs.

Really impressed with this, the temptation to increase further must have been very high given the losses but as we have said on here a few times just because you are watching better quality higher paid players it doesn’t magically put more money in the pockets of fans to pay for it
Well done everyone involved ⚽️💙

With a decent system, it could all be handled automatically. If your direct debit fails, the system sends a reminder, maybe followed by another and then your ticket barcode is blocked. No nasty people turning up. It’s just an excuse and probably related to the shit ticketing system.
