Sorry to start a new thread, but as we understand the club read this board, and other examples of how bad it is tend to get lost in matchday threads, perhaps we can use a single thread to demonstrate how bad/unfit for purpose it is?
Had RE tickets for Satdee's game. For block F, row K, seats 19 and 20. Which don't exist. It's the block in front of the old "scoreboard" (the big Vita advert to the right of the screen as you look at it from the pitch), and it ends at row J. I showed a steward, as it meant I'd have to be standing in the aisle at the back. He took a photo and reported it, but nothing happened (perfectly understandably; there were more important things going on).
As well as this, there were people coming up with tickets for row I. Which also doesn't exist - rows go from H to J.
Everyone was accommodated, so it wasn't the worst thing in the world, but it's still pretty bad. Maybe it was related to the initial cockup with sales for this game - I dunno, perhaps they had to re-input blocks manually and didn't get it right - who knows? But selling non-existent tickets for a sellout can be viewed by the authorities as very naughty and is another thing to add to the long list of issues with what seems to be a pretty crap system.

Good idea. Easy for the club to just point Future to this thread.
Title parade next weekend. Joined the queue to buy tickets, waited 15 minutes as 300+ people in front of me. That's fine, lots of demand. Then said I was being redirected and just bounced between screens unable to proceed.

I've sat in the RE three or four times this season and every time the Row I issue has reared its head. Absolute madness.

OK so a season run through of various issues I can remember. Not all of these are related to the ticketing system itself, but hopefully will capture areas for overall improvements, some big, some small: - Reminder emails were very hit and miss, particularly in the early part of the season. Sometimes they would come 24 hours before tickets went on sale, sometimes an hour before, sometimes an hour after, sometimes 24 hours after(!) and sometimes not at all.
- My online account only shows one page of order history. If I want to double-check how many away games I've been to I have to look back through all of the order emails (when I remember to keep them!)
- It is absolutely right that when ticket allocations are limited, the tiered system should be used. However it needs to work properly. For both Salford and Wrexham I was put in the wrong tier and had to ring up to buy tickets instead.
- The ticket office needs to be open all week, ideally after work on nominated days as well. Or, alternatively, let us collect away tickets after 2pm on match days.
- The seat maps are awful to use on any device other than a computer. Any future provider needs to have a mobile version
- The website seemed to be more stable when actually buying tickets this season, but then I think for high-demand games the tiered system prevented the site from being overwhelmed.
- It'd also be great if we could release our season tickets back into the general sale pool if we know we're not going to be attending so they can be resold, but that if very much a minor thing and is way down the list of priorities.
- The drip feeding of tickets, which makes people think we've got less than we actually have. If Tranmere are going to give us 1500, tell us we're having 1500. You know you'll sell them, so be upfront about it. Releasing more 48 hours beforehand that are then difficult to collect without an e-ticket option is unnecessarily burdensome.

Nice one. I hope this thread is seen as constructive. It's annoying at the time, and people obviously vent on here, but it's in everyone's interests to get a ticketing system that a) works, and b) offers lots of ease of use features such as your last point, which are definitely offered elsewhere.

Oh absolutely, I've ranted plenty of times in the heat of the moment, but we all want to help the club get it right and some changes are such quick wins that'd really help. Goes without saying though that the current ticketing provider is not fit for purpose.

Future Ticketing need to be binned and hopefully that will happen soon.
The farcical situation with the sale of the Accrington Stanley tickets was totally unacceptable. Season ticket holder seats sold and meant they had to be suspended for a week.

I have a very minor quibble...I have 4 season tickets but for reasons around when they were bought 3 are one order number and the 4th on a separate order number.
I've asked if they can be combined into one order number a couple of times but told this isn't possible.
Makes it difficult when I want four tickets for an away game, generally have to go to the ticket office in person to get all four together.

I won't put the exact steps necessary on here in case we persist with Future for next season but there's been a significant glitch in the priority sales operation (what we used for Harrogate, Salford, Wrexham with minimum number of aways).
Once you've bought a ticket there's a way to go back in and buy as many more as you want.
I genuinely didn't take advantage of it, but I could have gone and purchased multiple tickets for Wrexham that I wasn't entitled to.

More tickets than were eligible on your account (so for example could buy four when only three of your group had met the qualifying criteria), or buying more than the number of season tickets in total (buying 8 tickets when you only had 4 season tickets on the account, for example)?

Many wouldnt (and I can see why) so it does make me wonder if thats how we sold 700 or something daft on that first day despite many not many people being eligible for the Salford tickets who'd attended 15+ aways. Didn't the amount of people who'd done 15+ aways in the space of a month jump up by a daft figure. Water under the bridge now I guess but if that was the case and I'd missed out on a Wrexham ticket I'd be massively pee'd off.

The latter. I have two season tickets on my account, on my first legit purchase I could only buy two. All good there. When I went back in via the glitch I could have bought 100. I'm sure that would have set alarm bells ringing in the ticket office, but I bet if I'd gone for another couple it would have gone unnoticed.
