Less than 500 protesting outside the ground at Cardiff yesterday against ownership which has completely disregarded the clubs history and heritage and continues to dismantle anything that is good about that club. 500 out of an attendance of just under 30,000. That's about 1.5% of fans that day who seem to give a shit. Contrast that with County who also protested last week against our abysmal ownership which has mismanaged our club to the lowest point in our history. We also managed just under 500 supporters. 500 out of an attendance of around 2,000. About 25% of fans that day stood up for our club. We often knock ourselves as a fanbase and I do think we should have done more to try and stop what has happened to us over the last few years but you cannot knock those numbers. It's taken us a while to get organised but with the Co-Op hopefully our fans can start to have a stronger influence on the direction of the clubs future. So if you haven't joined already, do so as one last Christmas present to yourself! www.countysupporterscoop.co.uk/join-us/

How many of our fans would be protesting if we had gone up the season before instead of being relegated though?

I'm not trying to dampen our protest, because 500 for us is decent, I do think we should of had more, however our average crowds have halved in a little over a year or so. The main thing is, the protest worked. A lot of Cardiff fans have fed into this nonsense regime so I don't feel sorry for them. I do understand that not all of them wanted the new ideals brought in but they've been replaced by bandwagon bulbs I suspect so the club thinks all is okay. The minority (who understand the culture of football) have lost out to the majority (foam waving w*nkers)

Someone on another board summed up the Cardiff situation perfectly.
He said people want Premier League football in Cardiff, not Cardiff in the Premier League.

Yeah it wasn't a dig at Cardiff more a little pride that despite years of utter shite we are not dead and we still have a hardcore of 500+ who will stand up and show that we have had enough. On top of that we have 2500+ who will turn up week in week out to support the club regardless of what division we are in if only there was a little more faith in those running the club.
