Is the ticket office still open at 11am on Saturday like it normally is on a matchday or is it open later due to the Cambridge game being at 17:30?

Some of you may or may not have seen it doing the rounds on socials, but 4 of us are walking from Edgeley Park to Bloomfield Road on Friday 16th August, arriving at Blackpool on Saturday 17th in time for the game. I,d give em a bit of leeway for this by being the first away game of the season to somewhere thats bound to be popular with a high take up. Would have been possibly easier if it was stevenage away with the delights of that town for a day out. Been there once, enough for me. Exactly. There will be many County fans who will have seen us play blackpool every time we have played them away for the last 30 odd years. Some other fixtures its more or less a tick off of a new ground to visit and never return. Can name a few localish ones like that in the past as one visit to fylede, salford and fcum were one enough for life but others where i hate to miss.

Am I missing something - but it seems to be cheaper to get the train from Hazel Grove to Blackpool (changing in Piccadilly) than it does from Piccadilly to Blackpool (using the exact same train).
Only ask because I have a Hazel Grove - Manchester season ticket so don’t need the ticket between HG and Manchester.

Nope, not yet. One has a season ticket though, but just didn’t buy one the other week. And have access to another season ticket I can use for the other. Just rang up to try and get tickets for the kids using valid season tickets. Only to be told they can't sell us tickets because I've already bought one, which means anyone else linked to the barcode can't now get a ticket in the season ticket holders window. So a valid and legitimate season ticket holder is essentially barred from buying one now and has to go in the general sale scramble, just because he didn't buy a ticket at the same time as me. In what world is that acceptable? Makes no difference if I'm trying to buy on the phone, in person or online as the sales are currently online only. When I asked what would happen if I didn't have access to the internet and wanted a ticket, was told I wouldn't be able to buy one. I know Future have been given the bullet but what an utterly shambolic state of affairs. Although the decision to sell online only must be a club one which can't really blame Future for. Person on the phone said there's about 100 left in the season ticket holders pile but my son, as a season ticket holder, is restricted from buying one. Sure somebody will way in with a 'you'll get one easily enough on Monday anyway' response but that's not the point. People's plans change. I've paid for a season ticket for my lad, he now wants to come to the game, but can't guarantee him a ticket because of our binfire of a ticketing operation. Haven't posted this to have a pop at anyone/the staff etc but just to reiterate what a dogshit ticketing experience we have almost every week.

I managed to get one in the game of whackamole originally. When the new allocation was released i phoned up and i was able to order an additional ticket. Smooth transaction. I had to phone up couldnt have bought online as my season ticket reference was locked out due to already purchasing. Regards

Its certainly not great for fans trying their best to bring kids up properly as future fans of the club. When young kids get the bug some do not want to go week in week out at first but pick when and where they go. Blackpool is possibly the biggest attraction for them travelling away but parents cannot take them. We cannot blame the ticketing system for this but how the club has grown and outgrown their ground. Glad its happening now and not years back when i was involved in this.

Mega frustrating that there's a pile of tickets sat there, my lad meets the criteria for buying one, but isn't allowed to just because I've already bought mine. It's a bit of a farce. Imagine that happening for any other form of entertainment/leisure activity? You'd just laugh at the organisation and walk away.
