England should be going for a top manager. Look at Sven's CV when he came and how much he wanted the job. No top club side would go for someone with Carsley's CV as a number one. Possibly a blessing this is happening now.

Possibly a blessing this is happening now. Sven arguably the biggest underachiever of all of our managers? Early days for Carsley, his work with the u21’s and his first two games made me very optimistic about him. He’s shown he’s got the ability to coach a clear, attractive (and effective) style of play which is what all England fans want. Tonight’s been very poor but in the absence of any other outstanding candidate I’m happy for Carsley to carry on at least as interim for the time being.

VAR probably cancel this but Greece have been decent and should be at least 2-0 up now.

If Carsley is to stay on, we’ll need to find an alternative to Pickford.

We’re lucky not to be 3 or 4 behind tonight. We’ve been absolute dogshit.

Howe is probably the best English candidate with Potter being out of the job for a while now.

They’ve scored four.
We should be 4-0 down. Against Greece. At home.
f*cking disgraceful.
