Pretty obvious fake twitter address. Just checked the genuine account & his last tweet was in October. Intriguing. It's not fake, it's just a pretty unfortunate twitter handle. The account is followed by prominent BBC journalists and Salford Red players.

It's far more likely a spoof address, albeit a good one that's fooled many. For my money, this is his real Twitter account: twitter.com/Drmarwankoukash

I'm tired of all the rumours and counter rumours that have been knocking around for ages, so I'm now firmly in the camp of 'I'll believe it when I see it' and react to news when it happens. I'm pleased though that the terrible mess the club is in seems to be headed towards some sort of resolution and that there are people willing to maintain the clubs existence, as only a few weeks back I was thinking we were all but dead.

He made a bit of noise about buying Oldham and moving them to a new stadium in the borough.
He never identified a site for this stadium and, reading between the lines, expected the council to fund it.
Given that Latics had planning permission in place for a much needed new stand it all seemed at odds with a football club that seems to be finding a little sense of renewal.
In the end I don't think he ever put his money where his mouth is and Oldham's major shareholder just ignored him.
Rich man buying County? Yes please.
