So Brendan Rodgers is asked by the FA to explain his remarks about a Bolton referee,Theo Walcott is cleared of a gesture which was childish and quite deserved.Moyes is screaming at the cameras about the non award award of a penalty? and how poor the officials were.....Response from the FA? SILENCE! same old story...just a thought

To be fair, the FA are pretty clear about what the managers can and can't say about the referees. They're allowed to criticise the referees performance and question their decisions, but they're not allowed to accuse them of bias.
The Brendan Rodgers comment was ridiculous. He pretty much suggested that the referee was in favour of Manchester City because he was from Bolton, which is clearly bollocks.
It'll be interesting to see whether Moyes gets charged or not. He only made the comments last night, but saying that they're "playing against the referee, as well as the other team" could possibly be interpreted as saying the referee had an anti-Manchester United bias.
