I know we ve had the tie up with Robinsons for years now but did they or anyone else brew any County nectar?
Thought there was a JG ale but not sure.
Maybe that's a revenue stream for the HTH and Co-op?

It's something a couple of us have discussed but we need to put together a professional business plan and vision before we approach any businesses but I can assure you we're on with it.

Thanks for the feedback. A micro brewery would probably be the best bet or is BigFella producing quality home brew yet Great photo design and name : The Ghost . Never got to drink it though.... sigh ....

There's a couple of County beers in The Plough in Heaton Moor. One called The Scarf and one called The Man From Uruguay. I'm not sure who brewed them, but they're fairly drinkable.

Thanks for the feedback. A micro brewery would probably be the best bet or is BigFella producing quality home brew yet Great photo design and name : The Ghost . Never got to drink it though.... sigh .... Bit of a "bitter"sweet pic for me that. When I worked at the club, we were approached by 3 Rivers Brewery. I came up with "The Ghost" beer and envisioned it as the first in a series of (about 5) "County Legends" brews. Bergara's brew, Toddy's Tipple... that sort of thing. Got the design and marketing all sorted and lovely. Unfortunately the person tasked with getting pubs on board didn't get round to getting any pubs on board. Cue me running down Edgeley the day before launch day trying to sell our 5,000 (or whatever) bottles of the stuff. Only The Royal Oak were able to stock it and they put in repeat orders in the weeks after as it was such a good seller. Anyhow, we went into admin not long after and I think that 3 Rivers probably got stung by it. As did the designer. There were loads of bottles left at Manor Farm as well. Not sure what happened to them Great idea that could have made the club loads but fxxxwittery prevailed. I still have an empty bottle that sits in my house.

Can't imagine how frustrating this must have been considering the amount of time and effort put in. Design work looks great and thanks for sharing this.
