There's a goalmouth scramble but somehow we keep it out. The goalmouth scramble was brilliant, I can't believe we survived that. Will look forward to seeing it on video, so that I can work out what happened.

Fagbola sent off for second yellow. 10 minutes left with 10 men.

Ormson's mis-kick basically got Fagbola sent off which was a real shame but pretty much the only thing he did wrong all afternoon.
Good to see them win ugly for a change, important to be able to do that and like Lord said in his post match interview a few months ago they'd have let their heads drop and it would have ended 4-1. There's definite improvements if they can be supported by better management of the club in general.
Histon looked good. Second half made the Alamo look like an evenly pitched battle.

Boring game but I'll take 3 pts and a clean sheet. Ormson was good, a lot of good saves but the thing I was most impressed with was in the first half when he collected a free kick with a load of players around him.

Accurate? Sorry for the late reply. Ormson played well today with the exception of a couple of ropey goal kicks, one of which had Fagbola on the back foot and led to his second booking. Overall I was really pleased with the effort shown by the lads in difficult conditions, they showed a real desire to hold on to the lead. We didn't look like scoring much but battled well to get the three points. An ugly win really with the best goalmouth scramble I've ever seen!

I was relieved when the final whistle went, thought we might have conceded if we played another ten minutes but fair play to the lads for grinding out a result. Too many times over the years have we played well and got nothing out of the game. Ormson did well today but a special mention to Moses who I thought was brilliant and the conditions suited him perfectly and some brilliant work down the left from Jevons for the goal too. I must say though that we might as well have played with no strikers today with what Dennis and Dicko contributed, though we looked very toothless upfront.

The character of the players pleased me today. I enjoyed seeing the effort they put in and the way they worked together to protect the lead. That sort of thing should be a given but it hasn't been for us in recent times.
My man of the match was Churchman, I've not seen him before but I thought he did well.
