Call it something like 'Histon surely about to score against Stockport County...' and try and get it trending. It was comical how the ball wouldn't go in.

Yesterday was the type of win you are happy with if you are happy with the league you are in, but we need to see some signs that we are good enough to get out of this league and I don't really see any, so until then I can't get too excited

The character of the players pleased me today. I enjoyed seeing the effort they put in and the way they worked together to protect the lead. That sort of thing should be a given but it hasn't been for us in recent times. My man of the match was Churchman, I've not seen him before but I thought he did well. I'm surprised by this, because thought Churchman had a bad game. Gave the ball away a few times by trying to do too much. I'd have taken him off and moved Platt into central midfield. But i guess opinions differ. Just pleased with the result!

I think I noticed him more because I sat in the Main Stand instead of the Cheadle End, and was a bit closer to the action than normal. I just thought for a young lad, making only his third or fourth appearance, he dug in really well, doubled up with Moses effectively to win tackles and intercept play and linked up quite neatly with Jevons. He just seemed to me to have a bit about him, a big improvement on having Craney or Hand there anyway.

The goalmouth scramble was epic. Not sure if Dan will have captured that? The CE goal mouth looked like cows or elephants had been grazing on it. Ie no grass at all just mud. 3 points is a bonus and takes some pressure off. Could do with Turner back in the side and not Tunni.

It's years since I've actually watched any video highlights, must say they're very nicely filmed and put together. Fantastic we have this service, especially at this level.

It's years since I've actually watched any video highlights, must say they're very nicely filmed and put together. Fantastic we have this service, especially at this level. They're really good. I was thinking this week as well that the live commentary service Pure give us is impressive when you think about it. I had to drive down to Bristol this week, 170 miles or so, and the thought popped into my head that Pete travels further than that to watch poor games in the freezing cold (on a Tuesday night sometimes) that hardly anyone is present at, just so that fans back home can keep up to date and he's not even a County fan! I hope he's getting well paid! I know it's a remnant from us being a bigger club and yes Pure don't perhaps hold Ryan and co to account as we wish they would but fair play to them for continuing the live commentary.

Between them, Pure, County TV and Gavin Browne do a great job providing us with decent coverage for the level we're at.
Also, how good is that goalmouth scramble video, classic Sunday pub style football at it's best!

I was impressed by Churchman also seems to have a few nice touches. I'm concerned about the forwards, I will let Dennis off as he was coming off 4 goals in 2 games. An area that needs to be improved in the summer.

It's good to see the goalmouth scramble video going viral, a nice bit of modern marketing that will earn the club a little bit of money. Nice one. More than 9000 hits last time I looked.

I'm not entirely convinced it's going to benefit us in any way. A clip of some very fortunate defending and a massive stroke of luck isn't going to get fans flocking down to EP.

Possibly, you could look at it the other way though and say that any publicity is good publicity, especially when we're in a league that time forgot! I'm not sure what kind of revenue can be generated via youtube, but I'm sure 9,000 hits doesn't equal much. Beyond winning games and getting back up the leagues, what else can we expect to get fans flocking to EP, we're down to the hardcore now..........
