Absolutely right. Cuts all ways of course. Many of the people attacking Cummings would be defending Milne. Naive to think that this would he happening in the same way if it wasn't the bogeyman involved. Politics is in real trouble in this country. Media got some questions to answer here as well. Seemed to be little hesitation on printing the multiple visits accusations on pretty much non-existent evidence. I can only speak for myself, but if it was Milne I’d be saying he needs to go as well. (Edit: response to badger not stranded, pressed quote in the wrong place) Not for me, I'm in a vulnerable group, so are a few people dear to me, I couldn't give a pass to someone gallivanting round without a care who they infect just because of the colour of their rosette, let alone go online and defend their arrogance. Actually I think I'd have been more appalled. They get the NHS, they understand self-sacrifice for the good of the public health, and they took this virus seriously from the start. Would feel even more let down. Desmond, whataboutery would be bringing in something entirely unrelated to score political points, something like yes but what about when Alistair Campbell told lies regarding weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. None on this thread IMHO.

Weapons of Mass Destruction - nearly 18 years ago - not really a comparison is it?
Even County were in the 1st Division then

Starting to believe there's a deliberate strategy - put so many inconsistencies in the story that opponents chase off in so many different directions. One big glaring hole would become the big headline story. Many holes just dilutes that. Also several different attack lines going on lets them spin it as a witch hunt.

Best equalise quickly, regardless of subject, one all. I've got one up my sleeve about snatching free milk if we need a late winner.

When they want to criticise Centrist Labour, they've got Blair, when they want to criticise Leftist Labour, they've got Corbyn. Tories really are able to have their cake and eat it.

I see that the Conservative MP for Moray has resigned his junior Minister post as a protest that DC has not been sacked/resigned. This is the man that is an Assistant Referee (Lino to you and me) in the Scottish Premier on a fee of £435 per game. He has also lino'd in Europe on a few bob more.
He must be struggling on his MP's salary of £77,000 per year and his additional earnings of £15,000 from footie?
How does he find time to sit in the H. of C.?

I agree MPs should just do the one job, Johnson earned 800k outside of his parliamentary duties last year.

Working outside of the commons isn’t restricted to one party though is it.

Is there a preview on here?. My punctuation and use of words is poor in that. No, but there's an edit button. Click the cog next to the thumbs up and there are options to edit, delete etc.. 🙂

Is it really ? Someone states that a particular politician of a specific party shouldn’t be earning money outside of the HoC and yet it’s pretty standard for many of the MPs across all parties.
