Unfortunately he’s just one of an increasing amount of people that feel they are exempt from the guidelines.
Are many people going to change their own outlook on it because of what he’s done though? I doubt it.

I doubt it. Nope. They can do what they want, when they want, how they want. No-one to blame for this but the British public who had the chance to change direction and turned their back on it. What will now be, will now be. And there's nothing anyone can do about it for the foreseeable future other than bend over. All Johnson now needs to do is force through Brexit. Provided it's on a no deal basis and damages people in this country then they'll be in power for another 20 years (because the people it damages are the people who significant portions of people newly voting for the Conservatives want to see damaged and the typical Conservative voter can absorb the fallout).

I agree totally with you Bigmartin. The reason why I said previously why give a toss is because change wont happen given the results of the last election, and people on this messageboard getting continually livid and ranting may be accurate in what they say but there is nothing whatsoever they can do to change things until next election time unless they take to the streets and protest which isnt looking like its going to happen here. The UK has this government for many years, it will as you say do what it wants and personally it makes for lower blood pressure just to ignore it.

I'm so glad I'm not in my early 20s and need to somehow find a route through life in this shitty, parochial, backwards looking, country we've become.

Have so many members of the cabinet and ruling party made themselves look such utter fools in one day before?

Have so many members of the cabinet and ruling party made themselves look such utter fools in one day before? Incredibly, they did as recently as 30 April when Hancock claimed he'd met the testing target; they were all at it then in equal measure. Awful, awful c*****.

It's only a matter of time before Johnson does something that even he can't get away with, people will take to the streets at some point, especially those new Tory when they realise they've been had.
