Watched the last episode of the recent Manhunt which was on ITV. Would recommend that to anyone. Glad they caught the sick b@stard in the end. Just a shame it wasnt a few years sooner!

The Paul Merson documentary where he talks about his gambling addiction is worth watching. Available on BBC catchup.

Anyone watching The Vigil? Recommended? Normally my sort of thing, but I gave up on it, as the storyline seemed absurd. Others liked it so don't necessarily take my word for it! With you. Totally implausible bullshit I thought.

Succession back tonight, albeit in the early hours on Sky Atlantic. Can’t wait to watch it tomorrow.

Did anyone else watch Blankety Blank tonight? I found it good family entertainment for half an hour on a saturday night. I like a bit of chilled out, easy watching TV on a saturday evening. The US original ("Match Game") has been rebooted several times, and it's latest iteration is great. Late evening and less family-friendly but funnier for it. Everyone seems to have had a drink, and Alec Baldwin, of all people, presents, clearly not giving a sh1t. Lots of bleeping. I'll try to sneak a look at the BBC. Easy-watching game and panel shows are a guilty pleasure, as long as they are good.

Always watch the old episodes of Bullseye on Challenge when there is nothing else on. Just to hear Jim Bowens crappy but funny jokes.

Just watched Joker on Prime (late to the Peru again). Not a fan of comic book films but this was superb. Very dark but top notch.

Just finished the Blair Brown documentary (late again). Also superb. Shame about Iraq. Otherwise Blair would be young enough to make a comeback. Much better than any of the other politicos we have had of late. But the Iraq debacle (quite rightly) prohibits any return. I don’t think he quite gets that yet though.

We’ve finally started squid games. Watched the first three episodes and it’s been decent so far. Also started series 3 of You on Netflix. Story line is getting more far fetched as each episode that passes but there’s so many good characters that it kind of makes up for it.

Back watching The Sopranos again. It's been about 15 years since I saw it originally so it's like watching it for the first time. Up to season two, well written, directed and acted.
