I’m at the point where I can’t even click on this thread (for fear of spoilers) until I have seen the latest episode I am in awe of the writing, the acting and direction it’s just brilliant I finish scenes thinking “they’re the best character(s)” and then two minutes later “no they are” and repeat It’s incredible isn’t it? Tonight was another one. At times quite impenetrable heavy political conversation, moving at a ridiculous pace, but you’re swept along in it. To be able to perform that script and execute the ambition of it to such a high level is staggering. And the final few scenes involving Shiv, Roman and Kendall were something else. There was a moment where Shiv and Tom were discussing something and her reaction to one of his comments was one of the best reactions I’ve ever seen. Only two more episodes to go. The argument between Shiv and Tom last week was one of those all time dramatic moments. The anger weaved in with bits of humour.

I've loved succession but honestly just finding this latest series a bit boring.

Agree. Started watching Obsession as it's got several actors that I like in it, but the script is so corny and unrealistic, it was unwatchable.

Anyone have any thoughts on Beef? We’ve tried filling the gap between episodes of Succession with the Night Agent, but it feels like what you’d get if you asked ChatGPT to write the script for a reboot of 24.

Agree, thought the first couple of episodes were interesting, but then it just went daft and hammy.

There’s a beautiful moment in the latest episode of Ted Lasso - could have been a ridiculous cheesy mess but once again the makers of that programme just nailed it

Waiting until all episodes are available to start watching the latest series. I can't be bothered waiting for weekly installments anymore, would rather wait and binge it. Netflix has ruined the old fashioned weekly episode for me.

Netflix has ruined the old fashioned weekly episode for me. I like a series dump and am a big fan of Bingewatching an entire series but when I think about the greatest TV of all time it has always been served up but by bit - The Sopranos is my first love and I will never betray it, and clearly it came from a period when there was no option other than to wait until next week Better Call Saul showed, in a world enthralled by instant gratification, just how pacing of a story matters. Truly wonderful television. And Succession, Ted Lasso and The Last Of Us have embodied the spirit of Tony, Paulie and Silvio - This is Our Thing 📺❤️

There have been many, especially perhaps in the "Amsterdam" episode a couple of weeks ago, which was funny and touching in exactly the right measure. Mrs Fez and I were delighted by the whole thing.

The last ever soccer am aired today. For me it had a massive nose dive over the years and couldn't recover from losing tim and helen but it was a staple in my house for over a decade during its heyday and one if the best shows on tv possibly even the best during that time. Sad to see it go and probably now replaced by some absolute garbage.
