Watched the first one, hadn't meant to stay up late but got hooked, was gone midnight but we were very close to playing the second, customer meeting early made me see sense, might nick a long lunch and watch the second 😀 I would like to NOT recommend Manifesto on Netflix.
Since the first two series this show has spiralled downwards reaching ridiculous levels of stupidity.
We are watching the last 5 episodes only to confirm what we already know. It is crap.
However - if you have watched it and given up, the last episode is quite interesting

On Apple TV, if it's not been mentioned before: "Slow Horses". A very good ensemble cast but Gary Oldman stands out (of course). You can almost smell the booze, sweat and stale clothes through the screen. And on Peacock TV in the US (I don't know where in the UK): "Poker Face", a Natasha Lyonne vehicle. It's clearly partly an homage to "Columbo" but subtly done - not derivative at all. And it has some great guest stars, like Adrien Brody, Chloe Sevigny, Nick Nolte and Ron Perlman. Only just got round to Poker Face (Now/Sky in the UK), but definitely worth a look if you’re in the market for something easygoing!

The Shadow Line is available again on BBC iPlayer - it is one of the best series I have seen, arguably the best acted ever - the cast is tremendous and in Episode 5 the clock shop scene is as good as TV gets
Ace.

We are really enjoying 'Bad Sisters on Apple TV . It has excellent reviews and is very dark comedy. It has a strong feminism element considering the main male character is lower than a snake's balls but it has some terrific moments. I would never have heard of it but for watching an episode of Gogglebox where it was featured.
Rather enjoyed 'The Undoing' with Hugh Grant and Nicole Kidman.

Just finished Once Upon a Time in Northern Ireland series on BBC..brutal but brilliant TV. Same format as Once Upon a Time in Iraq which was equally brilliant. Excellent series, both harrowing and informative, after the first episode I had to watch the others in quick succession. I'm glad to see representatives of both sides show some remorse.
