Absolute joke that this has to be replayed, especially in the current covid-19 climate. F.A. should of ammended their rules for the start of this season at least, they scrapped normal replays so they should of changed their ineligible player rule at the same time! Let's hope we pick up a win & hopefully no injuries.

The club say they'll announce streaming details soon. Wonder if they'll be charging people again? Think whoever paid for Saturday should get this for free after that idiot ruining the game and the poor performance. More than happy to pay my £7.50 though I'll pay again, but it should be free if you've already paid. Or just for the good PR make it free for all. We've already had the streaming revenue we'd have expected. Wouldn't be surprised if they make it free. We tend to get stuff like that right at the moment.

If fielding a player who was not eligible is an offence then surely the outcome should be the same regardless of the result. We shouldn't be playing on Wednesday, but I guess it's a good opportunity to put things right.

Even put it out free to air with a donate button so people who don’t mind can pay the £7.50. I’d imagine putting on a night game comes with some expense.

We shouldn't be playing on Wednesday, but I guess it's a good opportunity to put things right. The argument would be about an advantage gained. Chesterfield won while breaking a rule, therefore it’s fair to argue they gained an unfair advantage in breaking that rule. If we had won they wouldn’t have gained an unfair advantage and therefore we should still progress. We didn’t break any rules and making us replay a game we won would be punishing us rather than them.

A nice goalsome, convincing win would be just the ticket right now.

On the plus side it means we get to play Chesterfield four times in a season.
We all know how things ended the last season that happened 😉😁

Oh I agree with you there. But I still doubt we’d be replaying if we’d won or if it had been us fielding the ineligible player.
