Jim Gannon himself mentioned Fitzpatrick as someone who should be inducted into the Hall of Fame a few weeks ago. Don't have an issue with him attending a game personally and found his heckling of the ref etc quite entertaining. He didn’t go to County for a fair few years, only returned in 2006 due to his friendship with Jim Gannon. May have done much good for the club since then, but let’s be steady on the Superfan stuff. I don't know JF at all, but I know that with his work at HTH then he has done more than most fans have to keep the club operating and helped organise a group of people to save the club a fortune during its darkest days. I don't begrudge him a seat in the ground tonight and tbh it was great to hear him hassling the ref. Many fans have had issues with owners, managers, or other issues and boycotted going to games...doesn't mean that they don't bleed the same County blood as the rest of us.

Non of that matters though does it, the rules are no fans, simple. Or is it a case of its not what you know its who you know? The rules have been set for everybody.

Not read through all the comments on here, so not sure what the general consensus is, but I’m quite pleased with that result. It’s okay.
Obviously disappointing not to score, but it’s heartening to see us get a clean sheet - I think that will do us a world of good (though Hogan owes Hinchliffe a pint IMO).
I had feared we’d lose this one, not for any other reason than it’s the type of game we have still tended to lose until very recently. I thought even more so when I saw the team sheet. But to be resolute and get a point isn’t bad. Shame not to capitalise fully, but it doesn’t feel to me like one we really ought to have won. Contrast that with Saturday, where, no disrespect to them, we really ought to be beating Weymouth given the resources at our disposal vs. theirs. Solihull are a good side and they’ll be at the right end of the division, so I think we’ll look back at this one as an okay result.
Plus, lots of the other results were decent enough. We’re off the top and could drop to fifth when games in hand are played, but we’re in a good position. Four wins and a draw in five is a decent return, and the only side to have beaten us is also the only side above us, and they didn’t even deserve that. So fair enough.
Small gripe: four yellow cards. I don’t like that. Needs cutting out.
To end on a positive, really pleased to see Ryan Croasdale take his chance tonight. We’ve got ourselves a superb player there.
Overall, pleased.

I’d imagine he’s almost certainly there as Club Ambassador, which is an official position. I’m okay with it and people need to stop being touchy.

I said a couple of weeks ago that we dont seem to take advantage of all the corners we win.Ash has not yet scored from one and I am surprised Jim hasnt had them practising in training.

Agree, I'd give it an 8/10 tonight considering it was a draw. Croasdale was the highlight for me.

Yes, it is an issue IMO. No fans are allowed, yet a fan has attended. How does a Season Ticket holder feel about that?

Or Ken, hasn't been there up to now this season, so the place can operate without him, everyone seemed happy to have him back though

Disappointed with the 2nd half performance, don't think we've played good enough yet in any of the home games, for a team hoping to win the league

This one of 24 years doesn't mind at all, given who it was, their stated role at the club, and all they've done for the club over the years.

Anyway...
I think we need another forward in. Jennings may come good, he may not. Is there a reason why he left Tranmere? Bell doesn't appear to be pushing for a start or even looking like getting on. Bennett and Reid also looked knackered by 70 mins. So we could do with another option up there IMHO.

Unpopular opinion - I quite liked the co-commentator and thought he was knowledgeable about the game with his coaching background.
A bit unprofessional at times, but I quite liked that alongside JK who is a consummate pro.
