My view:
The game - I’d have taken a point before but looking at the players they had missing and the chances we created, a bit disappointed we didn’t get all 3.
Players - Croasdale, Minihan, Hinchliffe superb.
Fitzy - is it ideal? No. Will I lose any sleep over it? No.
Co-commentator - We’re struggling in that department!!! Whelan & Ridgway come out with some right crap and the bloke last night wasn’t much better.
Overall - a win on Saturday and it’s been a good week.

Is this our first proper Proboards row? If it is it's not a very good one. I should have watched the video before commenting and I'm not getting after Jim at all. I don't want to row with fellow County fans so I apologise for any offence caused. Right, enough now....

Really don't understand why people are that bothered by Fitzy being there. Is it a 1000% fair that he's there whilst everyone else isn't? No, it probably isn't. But to begrudge one solitary individual for being there is more than a bit mean spirited to me. Edit: nothing is fair about this pandemic, and we all need be patient with each other. Let the man enjoy himself. I'm happy at least one of us in there. An old fella has been able to go and watch his team play football...some of these people man, they must hate children walking down the road smiling, it must proper ruin their day someone else being happy

Reflection from the morning after, I think 0-0 is a fair result although we probably had the best chances Solihull were in the ascendancy in the last 20mins. We can argue we were without a few regular starters but I think so were Solihull. With 4 losses in the past 5, we really should be looking to bag a few against Weymouth. This. A point is only a good against Solihull if we follow it up with a win against a side we should be beating. On Palmer, I wonder if we’re paying for private testing like Notts and other clubs have been doing? You can put your mortgage on that. With the set up we have now I guarantee we'll be privately testing. My view: The game - I’d have taken a point before but looking at the players they had missing and the chances we created, a bit disappointed we didn’t get all 3. It was mildly grating, but that's down to plain and simple jealousy, if I'm being honest the first time I heard "Come on Countyyy!" it felt like being back there. If his position allows him entry to EP good luck to him. I assume everyone has been tested, especially those who come into contact with the team. 8.5.2

Apologies downtothesea, was a bit narky about people having a pop at Fitzy and there is another poster laying into Jon Keighren on the other board.
I think Jim's point was there were 6 players out injured last night, so it was a good result in that context. Also we have a horredous record against Solihull Moors anyway.

But as long as they have ploughed loads of money into the club though yeh.

This Fitzy fella, (I couldn’t pick him out of a line up but I certainly recognised his distinctive “come on Countyyyy”, heard it for decades) if he is a club ambassador or whatever and his name’s in the programme then fair play, someone’s bent the rules and let him in, no big deal but it seems most people’s backs are up because he was sat in the Pop Side, audibly enjoying himself and doing something nobody else can, watching his team live. It’s like standing outside a sweet shop looking through the window at another kid dipping his hand in every jar. Perhaps he should have been tucked away in the Main Stand with everyone else and this whole debate wouldn’t even have been raised because the average fan would be none the wiser.

As a more radical option, perhaps even Bell for Reid? Reid’s best games have all been as a second half sub, and Bell generally does best when he starts, and often struggles to get into games as sub. actually not as radical as it looks. what you wrote is totally true and is well worth a shot. if bell has to play he must start. must be one of the worlds worst substitutes.

I'm in a similar boat that I don't personally know the fella but aware of his contributions to the club. I would accept he should be one of the first allowed to enter EP when the chance arises. Perhaps he was in the Popside as a sort of ball-boy? I know when a ball has gone out of play and the player picks one up off the cone, the unused ball needs disinfecting - maybe he's one of those guys? I would rather officials/fans do this job, with the club at heart, than some random independent people. I watched the National League highlights show that BT do, and one of the ballboys (looked a middle-aged man)/disinfectant man cheered when Wealdstone scored their 3rd goal - is this a problem? Or should they remain impartial and freeze? I know of Fitzy that he's very passionate about the club and probably couldn't help it, I for one won't begrudge him for that. Storm in a teacup for me

No problem mate, I'm sorry for my response. Also, I'm with you with regards the comments directed at JF and JK, unnecessary and unwarranted.

Can see your point on the JK comments, but per Fitzy I think the negative comments on here have been perfectly reasonable, no bitterness in them, just understandable questioning of a questionable decision by the club.

if solihull had dicked us 4-1 like last season with a men v boys second half performance then there would be something to worry about.
