Baffling putting Sam at LB and then Williams also out of position.
Tonight was possibly always likely. Woking were that poor on Saturday, you couldn't read too much into our performance and the result.

Everybody can’t wait to pounce it seems. Agree re Rusk. I wasn't fan of the decision, but I'll back the new man and try to be as objective as possible. Individual errors have lost us this game - the sort you can't legislate for as a manager. The culture is obviously a separate issue, but you can't blame the new man for that. He's only just got his feet under the table. Let's see how he reacts to something most fans had identified as a problem this season. |

The GOB used to moan about the fact we were top of the fair play league and didn’t “take one for the team” or “get stuck in” This is what happens when you do that. Shambles I’m sorry but there’s no way we are going up with Rusk in charge, I guarantee we would have gone up if Jim had stayed. I thought I’d got over Jim’s sacking but it’s all come flooding back again tonight. “I guarantee we’d have gone up if Jim had stayed”. What utter rubbish, we’ve no idea at all if that would have been the case or not .... |

I think there’s a few on here tonight who though they wouldn’t admit it are secretly comfortable with us losing this game. And I reckon there'll be a few who make claims like this as a way to divert from a performance that they'd be heavily criticising had Gannon still been in charge. We’d had plenty of poor performances before tonight, especially at home for anyone who wanted to criticise JG. |

Very obvious projection going on here. Those who wanted Jim gone spent most games taking great satisfaction from anything that went wrong and they think everyone else thinks the way that they do.
Jim has gone and I've come terms with it. If we play well and win, I'll be a happy man. If we play as poorly as we have tonight, make baffling changes and self destruct I'm going to have something something to say about it. Tonight has been undeniably awful.

Terrible terrible night of football. I reckon if I was actually at EP tonight I’d have got off when that 2nd went in.
The discipline of the team is awful and has been all season, perhaps that’s another ‘culture’ that needs to f**k right off.
3 or 4 in there that I genuinely wouldn’t be arsed if I never saw in a County shirt again.

I’m not saying it isn’t disappointing and I expect better but we’ve had performances just as bad if not worse than this this season is my point. Hartlepool and Notts County away were terrible showings. I didn’t think Rusk was the man because of Saturday and I don’t think he’s a dud because of tonight. I’m just prepared to give him a chance - many, who claimed they were, proving to be liars. |
