Yeovil are top of the form table over the last 5 games. Sutton are 18th. Yeovil should definitely be the tougher of the two games on paper, but football isn't played on paper, it's played on grass or in our case a ploughed mud patch. Assuming the league campaign survives as long as the Yeovil game! Not looking likely is it.

So in the net 28 days, my team AFC No-Hopers, loses all its 4 games and is so far adrift at the foot of the table the season is effectively over. I, having no regard for fans, players or anyone else for that matter, cast my NL vote to terminate the season whilst the likes of County, Torquay, Hartlepool, Sutton, Notts County etc all get screwed over..........'great'.........

It's a white out here in west Yorkshire. How is it in sk is there likely to be a match tonight?

I’m guessing the wide right player who looked a threat you refer to was David Ajiboye. He’s only 22 but is one of those players who does nothing for long periods but then comes alive all of a sudden. There’s definitely a player in there and if he learns to do it for longer periods in games he could play in the league. I think he has been doing it more this season and it’s no surprise to me that coincides with Sutton being near the top. you are correct. quiet first half and came to light in the second. didn,t get much of the ball down the line that he thrived on first half. one i,d love to see in our present side where he,d get better service down the line.

I'd be surprised if it was on later. Hope it is though, quite like the midweek games to break the week up a little.

Looking forward to tonight, probably as big a game as we could hope for this early on in the season. Said it a thousand times before but it's such a shame we're not there. Tonight is exactly one of those games we'd make a difference. Big top 4 game, cold Tuesday night, new manager and coming in to the game on the back of a good away win. These are the games seasons are made of. Southport was one in the champions season, Boston the season before with that comedy nobhead keeper and Warburton's 87th minute winner.

Latest form guide coming up to this match: COUNTY 3W 3D Sutton 2W 2D 2L Thinking we'll carry our momentum through and win 2-1. Rooney and Reid with the goals Over the season our form is almost identical and we're better away from home which probably swings it their way a bit but we are actually better than them so that should swing it back our way a bit, being ankle deep in mud won't help either side.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's called off, heavy rain is forecast from lunch time and I'm not sure how the pitch will cope with that. We've all seen the damage done to it due to playing in awful conditions in our last couple of games.
The grounds staff have got a tough task on their hands to get the pitch back in a decent condition this season.

Our pitch drains quite well and we haven’t had all that much rain the last few days. I think it will be on. I also think it will be a very tough game., but fancy a win. 2-1. Can’t see us keeping a clean sheet after the way we defended against Woking, who should have scored more than one despite being poor.

In the same way, I prefer Saturday games over the winter when the Floodies come on at Half Time and the game finishes in the dark, to those early or later season (except for maybe first game of the season when it's great weather and there's the excitement of going having not been for a few months).

In the same way, I prefer Saturday games over the winter when the Floodies come on at Half Time and the game finishes in the dark, thats got me thinking obout those games before they alter the clocks on october on a saturday afternoon. some clubs put the lights on well before the start of the game where really they are only needed in the last 20 minutes at best. for me i just cannot see what difference they actually make apart from upping the leccy bill.
