Utter farce that goal, but it was waiting to happen.
Constant pass backs to Hinchliffe who’s kicking has been dreadful. Shouldn’t pass back at the goal either

If we want to play out from the back then we need a new goalkeeper because Hinchliffe is a liability with the ball at his feet.

I'm a huge Hinchliffe fan when it comes to big saves and 1v1s, but people have been rightfully questioning his ability with the ball at his feet as we try to play a more possession based game. Let's leave long shots and commanding his area out of it for now...
I've always thought Ben was a big net contributor to the team even with his weaknesses, but I have to say I may finally be turning. Though the pitch did him no favours.
It's just even more brutal/gutting that it's come in a game like this that had a tight 0-0 or 1-0 written all over it and that's before you consider the table.
Well, we're all in it together so hopefully the team can pull Ben out of a hole.

I'm not sure there are many Eddison types available at this level. I think there’s probably a fair few keepers we could attract between Hinchliffe and Edison. |
