We will need to do something special to score tonight. Sutton are no mugs defensively, they weren’t last season either.
I thought this was going to be another 0-0, we’ll be lucky to get a point now.

Utter farce that goal, but it was waiting to happen. Constant pass backs to Hinchliffe who’s kicking has been dreadful. Shouldn’t pass back at the goal either Quite simply, goalkeepers aren't footballers. |

Tempo clearly not as good as Saturday but we’re playing a better team and the pitch is an absolute state.
Think we’ve controlled the game well. We’ve had some serious chances with a couple for Rooney and Jennings.
They’d only had half a chance.
Less said about the goal the better. It wouldn’t surprise me to see us dip into the loan market to try and replace Ben.
Second half will be difficult. They’re clearly going to shut down the game. Would like to see Bennett up with Reid to try and give the defence something else to think about.

Before the goal we had created a couple of decent half chances, if we keep patient and don't lose our heads, there is a goal or two in this for us. |

Apart from 1 decent chance each from Rooney and Jennings we just don’t look like we’ve caused them anywhere near enough problems. We won’t score tonight IMO. |

Freak goal aside a pretty dull half. It’s all well and good having possession but we need to do something with it (like we were on Saturday).
Less said about the goal the better I think, as mentioned as much as I like him he doesn’t suit the passing out from the back style that we look to be adopting.
