My guess. Cannon will be on bench tomorrow and will play against Crewe and Wrexham and take it from there Francis certainly ahead of MK now. Rydel not rushed back now. Johnson Palmer and him at back or 4 at back. Or alternate Hippo and him for LWB Duffus. Possible bench tomorrow See him also playing v Crewe and Wrexham. Leaves Reid Jennings and Keane a bit further down the list sadly. FA trophy team could have been weaker but not now. Full of people going for shirt. Just one question who would play RWB if Minihan unavailable Collar. Crankshaw. ??

Hartlepool fan on Angol: We’ve played him LB/LWB/RB/RWB even spells at centre back and never looked out of place, proper dependable player. Not as attack minded as MSH at Stockport but a solid defender all the same. Cover for Minihan too or anyone in the back four.

There’s an announcement coming up on the scarf Bergara wore podcast. The podcast is on now When you say announcement, do you mean it's suedehead telling us what he knows? The club aren't going to be announcing signings via TSBW. Yeah, I think there have been some wires crossed here. It was clear from Sam's tweets that there would be a third signing. There's also a running thing where the club tend to make big announcements while we're mid-show, hence us making reference to it. I should clarify we're completely independent. We do have guests on from the club but they're not going to be using us gobshites to make big announcements.

Think dependent on team playing Crankshaw be the backup RWB, but if we want a more disciplined RWB then maybe Collar if Minihan injured though was talk Cannon could play there Either way Collar/Cannon one could play midfield or RWB you'd be loathe to move Collar though as he has the pressing intensity DC wants nailed down whilst being goal threat at other end, you'd hope Minihan stays fit and does what he does and stays a solid and dependable member there, signs were encouraging against Lynn as he nearly scored twice but bigger tests to come Duffus also gives option up top to free Crankshaw up for RWB duties if needed Could also add Hogan or even Barclay recall as option there, bit square peg I guess None look direct replacement for MSH or Minihan but it's very tough to replace MSH who for me is at least league 1 level, probably championship level

Don't know if you've heard it elsewhere?
Transfermarkt is actually pretty good at keeping squads updated and generally it is updated by users, it can be useful for some aspects but their valuations of players is just garbage and that is where us being the 12th best will come from. Fryers will have been highly rated and have a high valuation because he played a few minutes for United and Spurs. No point looking at that side of it.

As you guys alluded to on the podcast yesterday when discussing another player, I'd describe Cannon as being "orange" at playing Right Back by the sounds of things. But if he's got an engine on him and can put a cross in and isn't getting a game ahead of the current midfield three, it's not completely nuts. We would be in a spot of bother if Minihan picked up and injury and would have to look at other solutions. And the only solutions we can have now are in house.

Wasn't meant come across arsey more just flippant I just use flash scores for squads really With regards positions though, if the mentality of the team and intensity is right generally you can carry the odd square peg, obv everyone is pulling together at moment and seeing bigger picture seems to be no complaints about players that have been on bench and unlucky not to start like Crankshaw Think they recognise its a tough side get into and that even if asked to perform an unfamiliar role or 'do a job'then they have to use that positively to stake a claim for further mins rather than throw toys out pram

If they all embrace it, they'll be good additions. None of them have the burden of having to come in and be saviours, they're here to add to the group. If any of them aren't up to the mark, we'll just stick with what we had before.

If we're going to be three up by the hour mark every week I suppose we could take Minihan off and stick Collar or Cannon there at a push. Could always switch to a back 4 with Hogan at RB too. I know it's not ideal but it should still be enough to beat 90% of NL sides. Cheers for watching by the way!

I don't anticipate any of them starting Saturday either, although of the three I think ZFA would be most likely given Kitching's recent poor form and him and DC knowing each other very well. Yeah I think it’s either Hippolyte or ZFA at LWB until Rydel returns. Would be surprised if Kitching made the 16 in the league again if everybody stayed fit. [ZFA last played regular football end of Feb (2 starts then Nov before that), Cannon end of October and Duffus end of November.[ Added for context. Must have missed some info here. Why have the three new players been out of action for so long?

Not sure about Duffus but he's not been at Morecambe long.

I'm sure we will, I think Cannon is probably expecting to get a a lot of playing time, I also expect Duffus to get a few half hours replacing Quigley, meaning Quigley can go out and give it his all for an hour. Imagine being in that Crewe team and seeing a bloke from the Championship turning up. I think if you’re a youngster at Crewe you’ve got bigger things to worry about.
