Big one down at the Moss Rose today. Macc vs Marine. Sell out of about 5,500. Good for the town I now live in if they can get back up to the higher reaches of Non League. Their current squad would be a very decent team in NLN. Just a shame they have that odious chode Savage there. The ever popular, grafter - John Rooney - top goalscorer with 16 for the season. One nil to Neil Young's boys... You could get 3/1 on Marine before kick off as well. |

And my sort of other team, Enfield Town head into NLS winning the Ishtmian playoff 3-0.
Tenuous County link in that Hippo’s cousin (according to Wikipedia at least) was on the bench for Enfield.

The new Macclesfield that was formed not getting promoted from the NPL with their budget is some achievement.
Fair play to Radcliffe for winning the league and Marine for doing them today.

For NPL level they might cost a bit but won't be anywhere near what Macc have spent on the likes of Rooney. |

That's kinda funny. Hehe... I really took to disliking Macclesfield back in the day. They are Alty that play in blue but always seem to have more annoying fans and characters around the club than Alty ever have. Always happier going to moss lane than moss rose. |

Gateshead beat Solihull on penalties in FA trophy.
Bad week for Solihull at Wembley.
Warburton came on as sub, flash scores not showing all penalty takers yet but with 8 each it’s a fair bet he’s taken one.
