I’d say we’re underperforming vs expectation more than they are so don’t know why we’re yet to announce. Because Simon Wilson is a jellyfish. He will give him the Wrexham game in the blind hope that Rusk can stumble across the line. I thought Wealdstone was that game and the result proved we were online for promotion......then came the Halifax game...and suddenly (or not so suddenly) we realised that was a chimera.

If he goes, I'm going to say it'll be Mark Beard as caretaker manager with an eye on giving it him until the end of the season if he does well.

With Barnet and Aldershot now looking for a new manager they may well pick someone who may have been in the running for us should Rusk eventually go. With the best will in the world we should be looking to attract higher than that type of club if Stott really does want to push to get in the Championship down the line.

We've got worse since that Mark Beard came in
Couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag.

For the record, I'm (EDIT: NOT) saying I want it to be Beard or that it'd be a good appointment, just that I can see that being a possibility given they really don't want to be making this decision (if they make it).
