Choosing to live alone away from your wife and kids when they're in Chester seems a bit weird to me? Thought the situation with Mourinho living in the Lowry hotel with his family still in London was weird too. Seems a bit lonely especially with the pressure all managers are under. Though maybe your perspective changes when you have a wife and kids! The way it was worded suggests to me they are divorced/separated. Ah of course.

Back on the 'When did we give the Pop Side to away fans?', we did it for a whole season in 01/02. Wrote a letter to Gary Glendenning at the time pointlessly telling the club what a f*cking travesty that was. Seeing Burnley fans sat in my seat from the far side of the pitch as they strolled to victory against us summed up that terrible season (apart from one game).
We definitely gave it over to Sheff Wed a couple of times after that, as well as to Huddersfield and Leeds and then that Carlisle game. We have been shifted along a couple of times since then so that the away fans were given up to and including the middle block: FCUM when we smashed them 5-1 on the opening day of the Champions season (and they behaved like the bellends they are) and Chesterfield the following season.

Oldham as well when they brought 3,000 or so. I remember when Oldham scored and a bloke cheered in the Cheadle End and proceeded to run onto the pitch celebrating, evading all stewards and then stage diving into the Oldham fans to never be seen again. What a day he must have had.

This dates the Sheff Wed seat damaging thing as 2005:
Comedy quote from our own Phil Robbie 'They'd been drinking all day'...... Typical sensationalist headline from the M.E.N. It was hardly a hooligan rampage, They pulled the hoardings out, damaged a couple of seats & briefly spilled onto the pitch in the corner between the pop & C.E. in a half hearted attempted to goad County fans, they were met by County in the same corner & retreated back into the popside. Despite their numbers i saw little to no trouble outside they were content to pretend to look scary behind a police escort to the station. The not sitting down malarkey & their boisterous behaviour made me laugh as it was around the time our stewards had a reputation for harrassing our own fans & smaller groups of travelling fans for the most petty of things in a none too polite manner, i read several complaints from different clubs fans around that time about the heavy handed nature of stewarding at E.P. They got a taste of their own medicine that day. Glad to say the stewarding has improved considerably in recent years. Classic moonbird, I thought the Wednesday fans were funny that day with the hoardings and pitch covers, it wasn't even hoolie stuff.

It was them lot swinging from the crossbars at the end wasn’t it? Yeah, remember that. Edgeley was mobbed with plastic scousers. Palace fans swung from the crossbars and brought down the net when they stayed up in the Championship back in the day as well.

Bizare thinking back to the Palace game now when we were already safe and they needed points to stay up.
Look at them now, pretty solid premier league team really

Just looked on the wiki for that season, some cracking players topping the goalscoring charts that year....

He also knowingly and willingly sold tickets in the CE to those Sunderland fans. Back then I was heavily involved in match day planning and told him clearly that he was just asking for trouble but given the £s involved he really wasn’t bothered. He was pretty anonymous on the day when it all kicked off too with his own stewards being attacked by both sets of fans for trying to separate them.
