Not as bigger surprise as the 49ers at Green Bay. Its LA versus San Fran just like the baseball, hope for a different outcome this time. Will be very interesting that one - I think the Niners have beaten the Rams six times in a row? And completely took over SoFi stadium just a few weeks ago. Not a massive American Football fan more into Baseball, especially the Giants since we went to see them when we were in San Fran a few years ago, but I will giving the 49ers a shout. Not sure how it works in American Football but I was a bit p*ssed off this year with the way the play offs worked in baseball, the Giants and the Dodgers were by far and away the best 2 teams but had to play each in the semis (National League divisional play offs) and the Giants got eliminated.........

Anyone watch the Chiefs vs Bills NFL play off game last night? Unbelievable ending. As a Chargers season ticket holder it was Deja vu as the Chiefs did exactly that to us - pulled off outrageous plays at the end to take it into overtime and then Kelce scores immediately. You have to win the coin toss or they don’t give you a chance! just watched on record after avoiding score all day, one of the best games ever, gutted for Josh Allen, but you can’t give Mahommes any time left really. NFL is massively different (probably for the better in terms of promoting the game and the exciting finishes), than it used to be, it was more Run the ball / Defense in the old days. I fancy the Niners now, if Jimmy G can avoid a pick. (Jimmy G is good and I dislike the pundits having a go at him, yet bigging up Rodgers who could barely get a drive going on Saturday)

Yeah that was disappointing as like you say they were far the best two teams. Saw them play each other twice last year and it was electric. Think it’s something to do with them being in the same division but pretty sure the other US sports arrange their play offs differently.

Anybody who lives or visits the states and doesn't go to a ball game is bonkers. We went to a Giants home game v Colorado Rockies, nil, nil until the bottom of the ninth innings and the Giants hit a home run and the roof came off !!

Always wanted to go to the US, nearly did a few years ago. I'm a fan of all four major US sports and can pretty much follow each one independently at various times of the year (by the way, Browns, Reds, Lightning and Celtics, with a soft spot for Syracuse too) so I'd be easily pleased in terms of where/when I went! Doesn't look like I'll be going anytime soon though.

I’m not but two of my lads are and they’ve done a couple of organised tours over the last few years. I’m even tempted to join them for the itinerary minus the games ...

I’d call myself a casual Dodgers fan just because I’m close by and I have a lot of good friends who are big fans. I saw them play the Giants in LA last season and then up in San Fran late in the year as I have a mate from school in the UK who lives up there. Magnificent ball pack and atmosphere.

Tempted to go Browns vs Chargers next year mate as I’m keen to visit the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame next door. Meet you there!

Big shock in the AFC game. At half time, couldn’t see anything but an easy Chiefs win, but Mahomes was as terrible second half as Burrow was excellent.
Too late to stay up for the other one though, but I’ll predict a SF victory and no doubt find I’m wrong in the morning…

I switched over to see us chase in the cricket and couldn't believe the Bengals were level and the Chiefs hadn't scored since. The decision not to take 3 at the end the half really killed all their momentum. Mahomes looked lost in the remainder of the game I saw, completely different player.
