I thought SS was auditioning for the next Batman film as The Riddler. I don't know him at all but I think he will realise he became somewhat confused in his comms and aims. Message boards are an extended interview and he failed to answer all questions and became a bit light-headed as the power became closer is that the same as bellend.?

Can't fathom this out at all. SS appeared, speaking in riddles as usual. Launched a march Everyone on YB pretty much joins aboard except one or two progagonists who say "whoa hold on" Then arises that SS has ulterior motive (and he does...whether that's an issue or not is a good question....but he definitely has an ulterior motive). RB does RB and grills him incessantly. SS gets grumpy, defensive, evasive, then finally chucks his toys out of the pram and plays the "oooo I've been hard done to and demand your sympathy" card. People then get grumpy with RB. I myself have had my run ins with RB over the past and he can be an extraordinary pain in the arse for sure (so can I !) but what exactly did he do wrong here other than ask a few pretty awkward questions. The only particularly offensive messages I read were from SS I think the phrase grow a pair applies here. And I worry immensely about people who cave in under pressure. It tells me pretty much all I need to know. And in this regard it told me "there's something wrong with all this". Though I still intend to go on the march. All of that and all of the back biting, all the usual cra* that goes on between those who say they are ITK and those that want to be matters not a jot .... the important bit you said and I hope every ordinary fan who is fed up latches on to is ...... "Though I still intend to go on the march"

I think SS is copping for some unwarranted abuse here and to accuse him of bellendary is plain wrong, he tried to do something at great personal effort and expense. He was then rightly questioned and he dodged them at first due to having to keep schtum but he has since offered a reasonable explanation as to how his involvement with the proposed consortium came about. It was him organising the march that brought him to the attention of the group. I agree that he has thrown the towel in far too easily but we've all got different tolerance levels and certain people would just not let it drop, why should he have to put up with it?

I don't know anyone on any County message board and don't know anything about the ITK rumours, anything on the inside. I'll be back home for Christmas and was going to the march on the 21st and I suppose I still will. So with no agenda at all, all this says to me is the Co-op is more important than ever. That's why I joined even though i can't really do anything practical. We need to speak in numbers, to give the Co-op a mandate to speak for all the fans.

Perfectly natural and understandable questions though Bigfella after the years of hurt we've gone through. And again, only really put forth with any forcefulness by one or two Yellowboarders.
Illogical, yes
Understandable, yes
SS should have just ignored the posts from certain posters...a self enforced 'block' on them to put it one way. I have no idea what the correct word to describe someone like this is. But SS is quite patently someone who cannot say nothing at all....hence a lot of his posts are 'riddle' in nature, 'ITK' in nature, and often just really evasive and mealy.
Repeat...sometimes just keep completely shtum.
I was looking on with the popcorn to some extent on that RB/SS exchange but there were clear and salient times where RB had crossed the line and gone too far...and to a large extent was getting quite tiresome. People were stepping in to fight SS's corner.
Then BAM, in came SS again, and again. I just thought "for gods sake just STOP....walk away....don't post".

I hate this "there is an agenda" and "what is their ulterior motive" That sounds like you are saying 'the fans' should never question anyone, which is one of the big reasons we've got into these problems in the first place! If someone flannels and gives cryptic answers to people asking perfectly reasonable and sensible questions, it doesn't exactly show good intentions, and only serves to make people more suspicious, as indeed has happened here. I just hope the co-op can now step up, and lead this thing properly, as it's just the sort of galvanising / rallying moment we need

RBs questions were aimed at the wrong person. SS had no agenda when he first suggested 21st. He was approached by fitzy and co to do marketing and try and get very large corporations to sponsor us. So he couldn't answer the anal probing that RB kept giving out. THERE WAS ORIGINALLY NO AGENDA Fine, so why not say that at the outset (or at least when first questioned) instead of posting riddles and questions and not clarifying anything? Made it look like he was trying to hide something, even if he wasn't!

If I was asked to do some work for a consortium wishing to buy into County I would keep my mouth shut. If I was being questioned about it I would also keep my mouth shut until I had spoken to those that have the money. What pisses me off so much is sitting here watching fan against fan. It happens every time we start to come together to organise something. He was asked if he was taking over/part of a consortium and said no but that did not satisfy the blood lust of a few and so the witch hunt progressed

A very sad state of affairs Biggus, anyway the march is still on and I intend to be there.

So saying no, which is a lie, just makes it look shady from the outset. And you talk about confidentiality - people on the other board and on here knew about it, so it can't have been that confidential!

He was asked to do some marketing by the consortium not invest. Its like me doing some consultancy work for BT, would you question me why your phone line doesn't work. So get facts right
