I wouldn’t say no to Camps but Sarcevic can easily drop back and play deeper. Him and Collar often swap positions in games. Even CLE had said he’s comfortable as an 8 as well though that would be ultra attacking. Point taken, that's why I said "I understand they rotate their starting positions". Personally I see it more as a ''6'' (Croasdale/Wright with Keane as cover) and two ''8/10''s. We definitely don't play with a classic no.10. For the latter role, there's Collar, Sarcevic, CLE and then a few who can certainly play there but will also be competing for other slots in the team Hippo (LWB) and Newby (RWB). The amount of games, limitations of transfer windows and workload in that position means there's room for Camps imo if we can afford him. The above discounts Whitfield and Crankshaw though who potentially could play the role but haven't made it work yet.

I think he could do well there. Wish him all the best. Hopefully he has a good season and gets himself a good contract somewhere.

Good luck to Reid. He struggled last season but there is something in there. Certainly at National League level.

Manager Neal Ardley added: “Alex is someone we looked to bring in during the second half of last season. Unfortunately, with Stockport doing so well and Alex wanting to be a part of that, we couldn’t quite do it"
He wanted to be a part of what? It was obvious to everybody he wasn't going to get a sniff anywhere near the success of the first team, or maybe he's referring to the Cheshire Senior Cup.

Good luck to him. He did well under Jim, less so under Steve and barely got a kick under Challinor.
Whether or not he was arsed about playing we'll never know. I don't think his Instagram posts being out in town the night before games and immediately after, when he wasn't playing, did him any favours. Nor did the lack of any 'well done lads' etc stuff.
But it's a minor point. He'll be largely fogotten in a couple of years, except for carrying a cat in a bag.

Good luck Reidy, not sure what all the trolls and keyboard warriors are gonna do now he has gone. Probably start picking on Kitching. All the people calling him rubbish aren’t real fans. I hope he does really well for Solihull where his career commenced. Get them promoted Reidy and stop Wrexham or Notts County going up!!!

Some of the people who have criticised him have been all over for years. They’re as real as they come. It’s like when that wet blanket Roblee used to say anyone who jumped over the barrier to celebrate a goal wasn’t a real fan. Complete nonsense.

I think most supporters appreciate seeing a player putting in a shift and having a rapport with the fans. Minihan does this with bells on. Hard to warm to those gloves and sporadic bursts of effort. I don't doubt that he could be effective though when played in the right system.

It was very disappointing that Reid seemingly turned down a number of loan moves last season. The lad is in his mid 20's, he needs to be playing first team football, every week and sometimes you have to take a step back, to move forward. Good luck to him at Solihull. He was a good player under Gannon, when he had a big target man alongside him.

Anyone know who the cat belonged to, and what it's name is? Do you think it might have been Jeff Stellings cat ? Maybe came down with Dave Challinor and Reid was hiding it in Vita towers …..

By the time we were back in the ground, he’d been thoroughly Rusked up, and didn’t give us anything to cheer about. Wish him all the best.
