The O'Brien 'rumour' came from a Portsmouth fan on twitter saying that we'd offered him an obscene amount of money, it wasn't picked up by anyone else. As for Robinson, if we are looking at another left footed defender, he's 20 & won't be counted towards our final squad figure of 25

Hudlin is terrible. Only thing going for him is his height. Will be like when Huddersfield signed Tom Denton and he sunk quicker than the Titanic Huddersfield signed Tom Denton?

Robinson seems like a promising prospect, but would have liked to see a player like Aidan O’Brien come to us, just thinking maybe DCh has someone better in mind. footballleagueworld.co.uk/sherring-robinson-stott-all-the-latest-stockport-county-transfer-news/samscfc. Tom Denton was with Huddersfield 2008–2010.

Wouldn't be surprised if there's some mileage in the Norwood rumour. He's apparently moved back to his Wirral base, & is due to play alongside Clint Hill in a Tranmere XI charity game soon...pure speculation, but who knows

James Norwood would be great choice Phil, it was mentioned as possible in May, but has gone quiet since then. Jack Stretton, would be another choice if Derby will let him out on loan again.

The more advanced area (the 'Sarcevic role') can be covered by Newby, CLE and Hippo as they're more comfortable there. I understand they rotate their starting positions, but more often than not they'll be found where we expect them to be. That leaves Keane who can play in the less-advanced central role, but you wouldn't feel comfortable with it. I think we still need a central midfielder who is used to playing the number 8 role.

I wouldn’t say no to Camps but Sarcevic can easily drop back and play deeper. Him and Collar often swap positions in games. Even CLE had said he’s comfortable as an 8 as well though that would be ultra attacking.
