I believe they’ve offered him a deal but he seems keen on Fleetwood. Also heard suggestions they’ve offered deals to a couple of others released by us. Yeah, I'm sure someone said Bradford were looking at Croasdale and Sarcevic on here. Yeah that was me believe croasdale likely to go there hoping sarce stays though

I'm sad to see paddy go but I get it. A 2 year deal would be madness. If he's offered that elsewhere I think it's best for both parties. I expect he'll be in negotiations somewhere. I expect Bradford, Oldham or Fleetwood. He'd be a great signing for Chesterfield but what a pain to get to from Blackpool. There isn't much sentiment in football, don't forget this is the club who released one the clubs biggest legends by text message (big kev). Kevin Francis was sold mid-season to his boyhood club, he wasn't released (nor was it at the end of a season).

I think he could have been offered a two-year deal, to include the opportunity to join the coaching staff. To me, if he wasn't, it's an opportunity missed.

Yeah, I'm sure someone said Bradford were looking at Croasdale and Sarcevic on here. Possibly talking to Cass too. Cass interestingly hasn't been confirmed as released by Vale yet, he got his own category on their retained list of " The following player will be returning to Port Vale FC from a loan spell and is awaiting a conversation with the first team manager" I suppose " Currently in Marbella" wasn't an option.

Paddy was what every Captain should aspire to be. A true leader. Croasdale been absolutely key for us the last few years and Hippo was one of our best 'under the radar' signings and was key in the NL season. All 3 of them are legends. All the best for the future 🙂

What a pleasure it has been watching Paddy in a County shirt, what a man, he personified everything you would want from a captain of your club and he lived up to all expectations. Genuinely gutted a deal couldn’t have been done and have spent the evening re-living all of his goals on YouTube, with a smile, love the man.
I hope he, Croasy and Hippo all get fixed with deals elsewhere, depending on those who sign contracts it will be an interesting summer.

Paddy’s hat-tricks away at Sutton and Notts County, will never be forgotten in my memory and am disappointed but not surprised to see him leaving. Had hoped that he would have been offered a coaching role, but possibly the lure of a fresh start elsewhere appealed to him more.

Quite happy with the announcement and the lads leaving will always be welcome at EP. Whats pretty obvious to me after watching the Div 1 play off the other day was the pace the game was played at. We clearly need players with a bit more pace about them in a few positions. Every confidence Wilson and the Gaffer will know what we need.
