A joke it maybe, but we definitely need another body in for tomorrow. If someone's coming in then there'll be coming in and if they're not then they're not; DC has said that we're hoping to get some in. Plucking names out of the sky won't will it into existence though. Well done for stating the bleedin obvious! This is a rumour thread and that's probably why someone on here has reported a rumour! Didn't know everyone had to confirm several sources before you give it your approval!!😀

May as well discuss Kylian Mbappe coming in.

Can someone signing today play tomorrow anyway ? yes. IIRC theres a 12pm deadline for them to be registered (unless its an emergency loan for a keeper) but just because they aren't announced by 12pm doesnt mean they havent signed Also no idea if that rule changes due to it being a later ko so say a 2pm deadline You're correct; 12:00 deadline to register a player to be eligible for a game played the next day. It doesn't change dependant on kick-off. " 4.8 Subject to Regulations 44.2, 44.3, 44.9 and 58, a Player will only be eligible to play in a match organised by The League if:
44.8.1 the appropriate forms for his registration or the transfer of his registration (including, for the avoidance of doubt, Temporary Loan Transfers) are submitted (in such manner as the League shall specify from time to time) to and received by The League by 12.00 noon on the day prior to the date of such match and confirmed by the League to be in order"

regarding madden and sarcevic. What do you want us to replace them with? On paper we have replaced Madden with Mellon (as well as Stretton returning) - albeit he's injured and a different profile of player. We look to be moving to a front 3 so there's less "demand" for that central striker slot too. It's the same for Sarcevic if we opt for a double pivot (or even a midfield 3 given we played a diamond last season). We've brought in Fiorini too. I feel it's Hippo (or CLE) we could do with replacing and upgrading. So another box to box 8 with plenty of athleticism and ideally can cover a few positions. BBA, while we have signed players to play in Paddy’s and Sarce’s position none of our signings so far have the same renown as those too who were good in the dressing room. Both Paddy and Sarce were statement signings at the time, with an experienced pedigree and still a few years left at the time of their signings. This season we have gone down a young route which l agree with, as it’s sensible for the future, but feel we need a top class signing, that gives the same feeling of excitement that signing Paddy and Sarce gave us.

They would also likely want the type of money powells on

Seems like mingi may be playing in midfield.
The description mentions along tbe lines of while onyango has played majority of his career in midfield hes spent the last year playing as a ball carrying rcb

Wonder if DC can resist saying, "On ya go, Onyango" when he comes on as sub.

He's not an orthodox RB/RWB as I expected. I wondered if it's freeing up Mingi a bit more to cover at RB.

Anyone know if he's any good? Little worried by the lack of DC comment.
Good to have an extra body in and some promising signs but is this more of Cotterill/Pond signing for depth than anyone we should be too excited by?
We still need a first choice RB/RWB.
