Doesn't really matter, for me. He's not up to L1 so pointless having him on the bench. neither are any of our players u20 but weve got to fill a bench We would not get fined if we only had 5 or 6 on the bench. Apart from giving young lads experiance of a first team game they are rarely used but just there to make the numbers up.

Not necessarily in this instance. They'll be told to argue on those two case points (last man and covering defenders).
Going round just shouting "it's not/is a denial of a goalscoring opportunity" will score points for law quoting knowledge but is not a persuasive argument.
I’m not persuaded by a lazy pundit quoting outdated laws personally and neither are other people watching with a half a brain. Just wish pundits would just shut up about the laws of the game when its obvious they have less knowledge of them than many fans who are watching. I,d say now that the average fan could just about get through reffing a parks game as if like me they,d know 75% of them before taking a refs course.

I hope we don't see him again tbh. He's not been anything more than a body to fill a gap through pre-season and on Tuesday and on all occasions has been pretty terrible. I doubt we will this season if things go to plan. I wouldn't write him off just yet though. Was well liked by Chester fans in the NLN. He's got 19 and the physical attributes to play higher. Whether he can "catch up' with us is a different question though. Pye managed it though. Pye did but he was already a better player, I’ve not seen anything in his game that proves he could step up to this level or even L2. I’m always happy to be proved wrong though.

Any news on Fiorini? I’d kind of forgotten about him. Yeh I asked him in the courtyard before the Cambridge game and he said he’ll be ready in 2 weeks.

l believe until next June 2025 I hope we don't see him again tbh. He's not been anything more than a body to fill a gap through pre-season and on Tuesday and on all occasions has been pretty terrible. He's only 19 and definitely has something about him going forward. I wouldn't write him off just yet.

All I've seen of him he has been far too safe going forward very rarely see him progress the ball forward and travel with it Heard that we thought he could challenge play a part with us this season but he looks way short of what's required on first impressions, my first impressions with Pye was a 45 min cameo in pre season friendly where I thought he looked best player on pitch admittedly against Ashtob Utd Okeke just doesn't stand out to me as having a good enough understanding of the game and role required of him, whereas Pye showed maturity beyond his years

To be fair, I’m a bit of an Alien franchise nut (saw Romulus yesterday when it first came out, for instance) and I’d happily watch any of them multiple times. I suppose the coincidental timing of a “death/destruction by liquid metal” scene with a certain other sci-fi movie from around the same time marked it down big-time for me. I know there were many contextual differences, but first impression and all that… Anyway, back in topic!

When I first saw Pye I thought he's just another kid we'll not see again when he went on loan, I thought he's not particularly fast or dominant in the air but he's definitely proved me wrong. The first time I saw Okeke I thought this kid's going to be some player, I really hope I'm not wrong again.

Other than one specific - and largely inconsequential - aspect of one particular character (which if you see it yourself, knowledgeable fan or not, you’ll probably agree with), I absolutely loved it. Mme Boulettes screamed out loud a few times, but that bar’s only ever been cleared for me by the original Japanese version of Ring.
